We don't know if that's the real context of the text message though. Taken in and of itself, it doesn't say or imply anything about group sex.
Same with the phone call a month afterwards - you don't get much context from the quote itself. I would assume that when he talks about how NBA players frequently have group sex, he means with multiple women. I also think that if he actually committed as brutal a crime as she alleges, he wouldn't be calling her and acting like he didn't know.
that's why I say these "allegations".... they clearly imply in the complaint that it was about that. But, I agree with you. Even if it was, unless he said so and somebody heard it (which they are basically implying), or it was recorded it would be another thing nearly impossible to prove, anyway. But, yeah, the whole thing just seems so ridiculous. This entire group of guys are just evil to the core is what this woman is saying. I just can't buy it. and there are 13 defendants. How many people is she even saying raped her? Or she has no idea and they are going by the condoms allegedly left there?
