Draxler -> Juventus Turin PERFEKT. Will be done before the window closes me thinks.

Hopefully for VFL's sake they've made a lot of head way with Ziyech/Praet and Martial/Embolo.

Because it would be stupid to sell him right now. Can't believe that two German top 5 clubs throw their ambitions away 2 days before the transfer window ends.

Also the numbers from Juve seem low. Not too long ago Heldt said he wouldn't even listen to offers below 30 mil. and Juve's offer is barely over 30 mil.

Martial to United for £36.6m, apparently. Doesn't really fix any of their problems.

:dontknow:

LVG says there will be no panic buys

Proceeds to buy a 19 year old winger for nearly 40 million

Absolute mugs. United have no plan.

Martial is good. 40 mil. are way too much for a 19 y/o, though.

By all means, he's absolutely a top talent, I just don't really see him as the out-and-out striker/target man that United need. I don't know what United plan to do with him unless they intend to use him as a striker, though. I always saw him as more of a winger who can fill in at striker in a pinch, based on his dribbling skills.

The English media seem to be churning out Henry comparisons for the time being. Silly season.

gala signs grosskreutz for 1million euros. is he missing a limb or something? seems remarkably low for a 27 year old with track record.

The facts:
- contract til 2016
- Tuchel wanted to get rid of him
- not a lot of clubs wanted him (Eintracht Frankfurt was basically Gala's only noteworthy competition for his services)
- Eintracht Frankfurt didn't want to pay any fee due to his high wages and short contract length
- he played terrible last season - don't know why (maybe he had motivational problems after riding the bench to win the WC  )
- Dortmund played better as soon as he got injured in the 2nd half of the season last year
- recently he played and trained with Dortmund U23 team (4th league team)
- he scored an own goal for Dortmund U23 team

In short: there's no market for him.

dont buy there was no market for him. surely plenty of teams willing to spend more than million for a guy that was in world cup winning roster, for some depth if nothing else

The reported interest from German clubs you can count on two fingers.

There's two groups.
The clubs that might have a need for him but cant pay him.
And those that could pay him but dont have a need or dont see him as a reinforcement coming of a terrible season.

And of course neither of these two groups want his throw Döner at strangers and piss in Hotel lobby character.
