It looks like the various health problems, and especially those strokes, have taken a major toll on Bart's physical and mental health. I know I'll be giving him a standing O', even from my couch, when he comes back to visit the team for Favre's induction ceremony.

It seems like it's given him a goal for his rehab.

No doubt it is sad one of the all time greats is slipping away, but it seems an iconic moment if he has one last chance to step onto Lambeau Field, seems the rest of his loved ones agree.

I read that too, but I looked at that more as a instinctual reaction to someone else being excited.

Does he really know what that "it" is? My feeling is no, but I hope I'm wrong.

Hopefully rodgers and Favre are actually cool and there isn't any bad back story.

I also have my doubts about this being a moment us selfish fans want to happen and we end up getting an Ali ushered in cart moment. A lot can happen in 3 months and this seems like a good motivator but the article portrays him in very rough shape. Hell it could be snowing at that game over Thanksgiving.

I read that too, but I looked at that more as a instinctual reaction to someone else being excited.

Does he really know what that "it" is? My feeling is no, but I hope I'm wrong.

My guess is his family has his best interests in mind...I don't think they would be him in a situation that would frighten him. They know him much better than you and I could speculate. I did read his wife wanted to keep "his dignity"and so I don't think she would roll him out there like a frightened child. It sounds like they are working hard on his rehab. I'm hoping it works out for the best.

My only question is normally the speech is done at halftime. Can they delay Rodgers from going into the locker for 5 minutes to get him to participate for a second to get the three of them together on stage in front of all the fans? Or maybe pregame they do a photo op or something because it's not possible at halftime?

I'm just wondering logistically how they can pull it off to get those three QBs together in front of everyone.

great to read that article. Love Bart Starr. I'm too young to have seen him as a player, but he has been amazing as a former player and public figure for the youth home, charities, the Packers. His character and personality, boy. They don't make guys like that too often.
