Argentina pulls away late to edge Venezuela by 9. Scola with another monster game (26 pts and 10 boards).

Arg now 3-0, and Venezuela 1-2, heading into the crossover games.

Panama beat Brazil today. Brazil now out. (even if Mex beats Urg tonight, Brz and Urg would be 1-3, and Urg beat Brz in their game).

So, with results against Cuba and Brazil not going through, here are the standings:

Arg 3-0
Mex 2-0
DR 2-1
Can 1-1
Pan 1-2
Ven 1-2
PR 0-2
Urg 0-2

I don't usually follow international ball. So hear me out.

Does canada have a legit shot at qualifying for the Olympics in 2016 in this tournament. It looks like they have the talent, just wondering if you guys think they'll actually do it

Our victory against Cuba is thrown out since they have been eliminated from the tournament.

That was relentless by Joseph. Turned down the pick and just drove on him.

That's how you close a half strong. Down 9, up 2.

Man, I'm concerned about Nicholson. This guy was such a beast earlier this summer when he was the focal point of the offense. Now, he looks lost and frustrated.

Next year if I'm looking to cut a big I might seriously consider cutting him for someone who is better at adapting to coming off the bench.

except for you know play defence.

Doornekamp plays defence better than Wiltjer?
And how important is that defence?... This is the FIBA Americas. I doubt there's ever gonna be a situation where they're like "boy.. if only we had Doornekamp instead of Wiltjer for the defence".. when they can just put Wiggins or Ejim on instead.
