It's seems like every year we debate the 6th WR being cut and how he will blow up somewhere but I never here of them again. Jones could easily be our number 3 WR on opening day, so I'm not too worried about cutting our number 5 guy in a year we are trying to contend. Unless jones lost a lot, I don't see why you don't bring him in.

We did have a similar debate like this about Charles Johnson

What's his story? I see he had 31 catches last year but where would he fall on our roster this year? I much rather have Cobb, Adams, Montgomery and jones than him at this point. A lot of talk for a 4-5 wr that seems very replaceable to me.

Johnson at worst case scenario would be our #3, maybe #2. People are so sold on Davante but he was very inconsistent to just crown as a sure fire #2 guy so early. I like him, but he has to prove it to me.

Either way Charles Johnson is better than Janis.

Did the definitive story ever come out on what happened with Johnson? He was signed off the pack practice squad by the Browns then immediately had an acl. Was it already hurt when he was a packer and misdiagnosed or did he simply hurt it right away with the browns? It's interesting that Cleveland let him leave that next year considering the cap they had at wr. He seems like a good player with the vikes but it was an odd journey to get there.
Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside in a cloud of smoke, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming Wow! What a Ride!-H.S.T.

Don't understand Ed Williams on the practice squad. Especially if we also put white on the PR

Robertson Daniel to finish off the practice squad. CB who spent training camp I. Oakland. Also R. Rogers going to 82 and Jones gets his 89 back.

Nice gesture by R. Rodgers. Seems like a good kid. I actually hope money did not change hands and I bet it did not.

If he is eligible to sign with the Packers PS, it probably would be wise to do so even if he's angry. He knows the offense completely and likely would be the first guy added to the roster if a receiver got hurt.

Ball cleared waivers Ian Rapoport ‏@RapSheet 7m7 minutes ago
A bit of a surprise: #Broncos RB Montee Ball cleared waivers. He’s a free agen

Probably, but he's competing with Abby, who they clearly like, and White might have a good chance with Ben McAdoo in New York as well.

He's like the fifth option for the Lions. That being said, I'll never apologize for cutting Jeremy Ross.

Interesting I just read ed Williams was in Detroit the WR we cut. I thought he was about 8th on the depth chart after Pinkard, and abby.

When the packers heard he was in Detroit they immediately flew him to GB and promised the final 10th PS spot is NOT going to myles white.

Looks like myles White's packer career is over for good.

I didn't realize they valued ed hardly saw him in the preseason.

Also rajon neal got a job with the dolphins good for him.

Yeah thats why I put the question mark. I have some vague memory of him being a worthwhile asset to DET as a WR/KR but im prbly just thinking of one game where he made some plays against GB.

Giants and packers swapped WRs. Packers cut white to get cut JJ and giants picked up white and added him to the PS.

R. Neal unfortunately got cut by the dolphins. Hopefully he finds a team.

James Jone and Davante Adams were buddies back in their California days.

This is a pretty cool read:

Awwww. We lost Matt Blanchard. Somehow I missed that in frenzy of not being satisfied with the Bears victory.
