Giannis gets beat off the dribble way too much. He needs to stay in his stance and stay squared up with his man.

Spanoulis does anything he can to not pass the ball to Giannis...do think I have seen him pass the ball to Giannis once this game

Spanoulis didn't need to play much on this game due to the weak opponent and a hit on his face but I don't remember even once Giannis to be open and Spanoulis not to give him the ball. If you had watched the previous games you would know that Spanoulis is the only greek guard that seems to have good chemistry with Giannis in offense btw.

Missed Eurobasket thus far but you're on point about Vassilis & Gianni. They had great chemistry from the first game. Loved seeing someone so active in getting G involved. Zisis has done so in both of Giannis' summer stints. Made sense to me that he'd be a player to regard Spanoulis & Giannis as the most important cogs of the team. And to a lesser extent Calathes makes an effort to get him the ball. This seems relative to preferring the set-up role and bringing the ball up court.

If someone doesn't try to involve Giannis in the offense that much, it's probably Sloukas. But then again I don't really think so.

Anyway the last gif above is something I've seen in every game til far. Giannis getting a screen and cutting to the basket.
He is solid in the first 3 games. Good Defense, 2-3 jumpers or threes, 3-4 drives or alley-oops, regardless if he makes these shots. I hope he's holding his best performance for the most important game of the tournament, the Quarterfinal, probably against Spain. Hopefully Papanikolaou finds his form until then. He is outperforming and the team needs him.
