Open at home April 4th against the Giants. Get your tickets now RS. The Astros come to town April 8th-10th. Chance to maybe see Fiers and get his autograph and hug him.
First road game is the Cardinals home opener on April 11th which seems to happen every year.
4 games against the Twins from April 18th-21st starting in Minneapolis for 2.
Last game against the Marlins is May 11th.
Home games against the A's on June 7th and 8th.
9 game California road trip from June 13th to the 22nd facing the Giants (3), Dodgers (4) and A's (2).
The schedule a month before the all-star break is brutal, in addition to the 9 games I just mentioned, the final 5 series' before the all-star break are vs Nationals, vs Dodgers, @ Cardinals, @ Nationals, vs Cardinals.
We have two 10 game homestands July 22nd-31st against the Cubs (3), D'Backs (4) and Pirates (3) and another from August 22nd-31st against the Rockies (3), Pirates (4) and Cardinals (3).
We play the Mariners in Seattle again even though we played them there the last time we played the AL West.
September looks brutal. 18 of 27 on the road. 7 against the Cubs, 6 against the Pirates, 4 against the Cardinals and 3 against the Rangers.

Re: 2016 Schedule
On a more entertaining note, check out the Padres Forum. They have 30 total posts. The most recent one was two years ago. They have a thread dedicated to David Wells on the front page, and he hasn't played since 2007, 8 years ago. It made me giggle.
The Royals forum also has 30 total posts, and none of them reference the World Series trip from last season.
The Pirates forum has 39 posts, including a post from Gek in 2015 in which he asks "anyone alive?" He has yet to receive an answer. viewtopic.php?f=116&t=1400241#start_here

Not really surprising. This is mainly a basketball forum, that's what people come here for initially and none of those cities have teams.

Re: 2016 Schedule
I think it's a pretty tough draw again. Pitt, CHC, and STL are likely to stay very good, so being in the NL Central almost automatically puts your schedule strength in the top 10 if you have to play all 3 of those teams.
But adding to that is the fact that they might be playing the AL's best division in interleague play once again, this time the West. Next year the West should improve a lot; most of them underachieved this year, and there are some good farm systems and deep pockets there. I don't see any cupcakes except maybe Seattle. Throw in the mandatory series with the solid Twins, and the imbalanced schedule of baseball is not doing the win-now casual fans and front office any favors whatsoever lately.

Re: 2016 Schedule
I would have to think next year our expectations will be really low assuming we commit to the youth movement. I guess hard to say what we do in the offseason but I wouldn't be shocked if guys like Braun, Segura, Lind (assuming pick up option), Garza, KRod, Lucroy are moved. I kind of think Arcia is going to be the SS.
I could be wrong though, maybe they keep those vets and attempt to win while bringing up these young guys.
