great to see JV using the glass on the right side jumpers and a left hand hook. but JV doesn't look to have any lifts. a few that could be easy dunks

Apparently JV got a flu or smth, didn't finish the training today and got back to hotel early. Not clear whether he plays tomorrow.

I've seen some comments about how "Jonas improving his post game is a myth", though this video says otherwise. His drop step looks much more polished this summer, and his overall footwork looks like it's improved. That jumper off the glass is nice too.

With that said, improvement in skill isn't always proportionate to improvement in effectiveness. His lack of passing is going to be a huge chokehold in his game that will forever hinder his impact if he doesn't address it.

Watching Lithuania without JV is like watching the Raptors without a healthy Lowry, just ugly.

Lithuania used to produce some good offensive players and shooters, I'm not sure whats happened recently.

Since there's no Eurobasket thread outside of this one, I'm going to brag here about how great Serbia is playing. Best team so far in the tournament, winning by an average of +15 and this in the "Group of Death".

I really hope this is the revival of our national squad.. there was a bit of a lull there since Peja, Vlade and Bodiroga retired but after the Silver at the WC in 2014 - and hopefully a strong result here - we should have some momentum going into the Olympics.

On another note, I just realized the Czech Republic is leading group D. I really don't know who made these groups but they need to re-evaluate their process.
