I think what's most impressive about Serbia is how well they play without really any NBA talent.

Well, it depends on what you consider NBA talent - no all stars, that's for sure but..

Bodganovic was drafted last season by PHX, Milutinov by the Spurs and stashed overseas
Bjelica will play for the T-Wolves next season
Nedovic had a short stint with the Warriors and might still be in the league if he had been on a crappy team
Kuzmić actually won a ring with the Warriors last season (but never played)
Raduljica has shown he can hang in the league a bit
Boban Marjanovic will play for the Spurs this season and he's not even in the tournament
and Teodosic would probably be a weak starter or good back-up if he chose to play here

So there's at least a few guys who could play in the league today, a couple who will get a chance to soon, and many of them have who have but bounced out. Very young team though, for the most part. Average age is like 24 I think.

Anyway, I think that's more than anyone here wanted to know. Long story short is the resurgence has begun. And hold on to your knickers.

Not sure if anyone has been watching Italy but Bargnani is moving better than he has in years. With Belinelli, Gallo, and Bargs finally playing together they're an interesting team

Benched for bad pass execution (right idea), or minutes restriction?

I think JV is not really match ready, but he needs to play as much as possible.

Dude had 40 deg temperature and a brutal case of diarrhea. Dude can't play long stretches.

LTU is trash this year. Everyone will put blame on the coach, but IMO PGs are to blame.

I've been saying it for years, Lithuania needs to naturalize Luke Ridnour. They don't even have to declare him.

How does a small basketball-crazy country like Lithuania not produce more capable PGs? They've had crap play at that position since Jasikevicius retired.
