anyone know anything about him? i just remember him being touted as the next great big euro shooter who never panned out. unless he can bring his 20/10 overseas to this team i'd hate him to take chuck hayes' spot.

Training camp battle for the 15th spot. No reason not to try him out.
Plus, why would I want to go to the NBA? Duke players suck in the pros.

They'll just fight it out at training camp brah, he only makes it if he absolutely kills it which I doubt it

Dunno, surely there has to be better options even for training camp than the dude who was poster boy for euro-busts 10 years ago and has been playing in Iran for the last few years? Seems like another one of Doc's no risk/no reward type of move

Lol, no risk / no reward
Definitely can't imagine him surviving past training camp. Seems like there would be a lot of undrafted or younger players that would be options for a training camp spot as opposed to Skita.
Clippers are the second oldest team in the league. Not that big a deal, older teams actually tend to win it all more often, but Doc and this front office need to find a balance and at the bottom of the roster they need to add players that are young and can be developed.
...and no, Wesley Johnson no longer has potential to be anything more than what he is now, and he's not even "young".

Re: Clippers sign... Nikoloz Tskitishvili?
I remember Skita was on the Knicks summer league team some years ago, I thought that would be THE LAST time I'd ever hear that name in regards to the NBA, but I guess not.
Clippers might as well bring back some of their other failed Euro projects: Yaroslav Koralev anybody? What about Sofoklis Schortsanitis? I remember when he was dubbed "The Greek Shaq".... I sure do miss all of these Euro bums from yesteryear
I remember in 2003 thinking the Knicks had a stellar draft, getting Mike Sweetney, having Maciej Lampe fall into our laps (he was a projected lottery pick) and taking a flyer on the 7 ft 6 Slavko Vranes, boy was I wrong!!!
Maybe the Mavs can bring back Pavel Podkolzin and the Wizards can find Peter John Ramos?
How the hell do I remember all these guys? HAHA
