With 2 in head of me I have my 3 man list ready. So, there should be no wait on my pick. As soon as Floppy picks I should be as well.

So, Kevin Durant. I guess my spoiler didn't cause him to go higher after all. Sort of a high risk/high reward pick for me. I couldn't find much on his injury that scared me away and he's been known to be the #1 guy in fantasy quite regularly, so I figure you have the #7 pick and end up with Durant you probably did about as good as you can.

I'm just hoping I don't see some news come out about him being out til January or something now. That being said, the guy I pick with my first pick traditionally goes down with a season ending injury, so if Durant holds to form that helps my Jazz make the playoffs, so it's all good.

There will be no stopping of the draft. Cy has had the chance to make his pick for 2 days and even posted about his intentions about dealing the pick. He should have well known that the draft start date was today.

jazz.. I almost took Kevin. But I think CP is easier to build around, so that decided it for me. Although I like Kevin and hate CP, so it will be hard to root for him.

That makes me happy. I've got this sinking feeling I can't shake that everyone but me knows he's out for the season and I just made the most boneheaded pick ever.

That being said, CP3 was #2 on my list, and if Cy had come back I had a guy I was perfectly happy with after that. Heck, I think I could have even picked one later and still been happy.

Does Cy get to pick once he realizes he missed his turn or does he forfeit the pick?

He gets to pick late, at any time. Everyone picking while he is out could lose a race to him on the pick, if he picks first.

FFL 2015 - 2016 - Draft started...

Post#215 » by writersblock » Fri Sep 11, 2015 12:08 am

Funny story about Durant. I got Woody to start the draft early last year with a deal that if he picked Durant and Durant went down before the actual first day of the draft, I would have to trade him my pick for Durant. Ironic that Durant eventually was out for the season
