This is just as silly as saying that Fat Juan's amazing few months for the Jays last season meant he was destined to be a great major league hitter. One year later and he's out of major league baseball. It happens all the time.

Why don't we just enjoy this while it lasts and if it turns out that it lasts longer than expected then its a total win for the Jays and Jay fans. Can we agree on that?

While I agree that Goins cannot sustain his current pace, at least it has come with a complete change in approach

It got a lot of attention, but it's really not a big change. Part of the story about the change in approach is how minimal it was compared to the change in results. Players tweak little things all the time. Confirmation bias is a wonderful thing.

Swinging at 35% of pitches vs 45% is a huge change.

I'm looking to get a blue chip pitching prospect for Tulowitzki.

If Travis had played a full season he would be a runaway pick for AL R.O.Y and if he continues with numbers anywhere close to what he was producing early in the season he could be the best 2B in the AL in a few years, it's such a weak offensive position.

Goins has been a more than serviceable replacement but he's just that, a stop gag. This isn't even a debate IMO.
