Introducing an all-new podcast made for Magic fans, by Magic fans!

The Men In Blue Podcast debuted last week! We've put out two episodes (as well as an additional "bonus" episode) and we'd love to have more Magic fans listening and giving us feedback. You can find us on iTunes, PodBean, or most other Podcast retrieval apps/sites.

Thanks for the episodes so far, have been enjoying them (saw it posted on Reddit).

Not that its a criticism necessarily, but one of you guys get a really croaky voice thing going every now and then where it almost sounds like you are that freaky girl from The Grudge. Kind of like when you go "yeah ughhhhhhhhhhhh". Its quite off putting but not sure its something you can fix.

Shadrock, thanks for listening and thanks for the feedback!

As we've mentioned, this is our first time doing anything like this, so we're trying to learn from each episode and constantly improve. We hope to be in a nice groove with a quality product by the time the season tips off.

You bring up a very valid point; one that I (Kevin) was particularly poor with in our second episode. What we/I learned from this one is to not record an episode after a long 16-hour day! I was coming off of a long day at work and one that I used my voice quite a lot. So, not only was I sleepy and my thoughts were a little slower, the time between my thoughts was filled with that scratchy "uhhhhh" sound you speak of!

So yes, this is a great and valid suggestion and something that we definitely noticed. We will definitely look to reduce/eliminate that in the future.

Thanks for the podcast guys.

Just listened to the first episode today.

Just one thing to take issue with: I think you'll be surprised by the number of UK-based Magic fans in attendance when the Magic come to London in January. Whether it's a legacy of the Magic's first visit in 1993 or the popularity of Shaq and Penny in the early 90s, there's a solid Magic fanbase here in the UK.

Also Brits in general tend to me more team-fan oriented rather than player-fan oriented so the loss of the likes of Shaq and Dwight wouldn't necessarily affect the Magic fanbase over here. Being a bad team in recent times will just mean there probably aren't many new Magic fans but the older ones are still there.

Anyway, a good listen and thanks again.

Thanks for the feedback! Yes, we've been quite shocked at the amount of listeners from the UK. It's definitely opened our eyes. In the U.S., our team is one of the least-popular in the league so it's surprising to know that we even have fans elsewhere!

But seriously, it's very cool to know that our team has supporters all over the world. I guess it's not unlike how many Premier League sides have supporters here, too...even the "small clubs."

But anyway...thanks so much for listening! Hope you'll stay with us as the season kicks off. It's gonna be a fun one. Go Magic!

What an awesome podcast! I am surprised there isn't more people here stoked about it. I really enjoyed listening to all the episodes. IMO I wouldn't change a thing and it is great to finally have a fan based podcast for the magic. I am really looking forward to the next one.

When the season tips off, our plan is to do shows twice a week so there will be plenty of recaps over previous games and previews of games to come. We are REALLY excited to get to talk about some actual basketball soon!
