I expect no less than a 14pt victory. I think 30-13 should be about right.

But seeing average TE's look like the second coming of gronk against our lbs that can't cover always makes me cringe.

Their WRs are hobbled. All they have is a decent TE and forte. This defense should be able to handle them. It's not that I expect a packers loss it's that I saw a leaky defense this preseason and last year awful ILB play possibly worst ILBs in the nfl last year at least bottom 5. I really hope it's cleaned up this year. We will find out soon.

We couldn't have asked for a better opener, it's like the WI of old setting up cupcake opponents as warm ups before big10 games started. We have that with the bears so I'm not expecting a loss. But I am extremely curious to see how certain areas perform based on last year's struggles.

Overall the offense is obviously great. Can you give a good reason why being mediocre in the red zone should be acceptable? They score a lot of points, and they SHOULD score a lot of points. They have the best QB in the league, one of the better offensive lines, great skill position players. By far the best offensive personnel in the league gave us only a slight scoring advantage over other good offensive teams last season. So: no, leaving a ton of points on the field is not satisfying to me.

Well in the top 3rd of the league isn't mediocre. It's above average. But hey symantecs. It's all about points scored and in that regard they're as good as anyone so what your saying is you won't be satisfied with anything but a record setting offense and that to me is expecting the stars. The fact that Oakland led the league last year however should tell you the stat in and of itself doesn't tell the entire story though. Like I said it's about points scored. Doesn't matter where the hell they come from.

Also "by far the best offensive personnel in the league"? Listen I think they got the most talented offense too and think they're stacked on that side of the ball but "by far the best"? Common man I can appreciate the homer card but damn. There's some damn good offenses out there with alot of talent also

Look around and get back to me. I stand by my statement. The Packers' offensive personnel last year was a Death Star and should have been historically good in terms of scoring.

Meh. We were very top heavy. We had nothing at TE and got almost nothing at WR beyond the top 2. Being able to run the ball also doesn't help in terms of total points scored, but it can help you win games. The 2011 team was in a much better position to set records given more receiving options and the lack of a running game.

As it stands, we still led the league in points scored.

I'd rather hear that than "I hope we don't choke against the Bears like we did against Seattle".

He said the same thing before flying out to the choke job in Seattle. This time Brandon Bostick isn't going with but we do have Ron Zook which might be worse.

Chicago's ST's traditionally have been far better than ours. Both defenses are terrible. Our O is superior to theirs which goes without saying, so if the bad defenses cancel each other out the only way we lose is if our ST's really let us down and I wouldn't completely rule that out.

Bears at home with a real HC for the first time since Ditka... Us with a new OC and no Nelson and a first time WR coach. I'm very curious how this one turns out. Not as confident it's a gimme like many expect. James Jones might need to come up huge for us tomorrow as he might be the only WR outside of Cobb who really knows what he's doing and RC has that painful shoulder injury that I'm sure the Bears are going to hammer.

JJ will be fine. He's got that back shoulder we will need. I have faith in JJ and lacy plowing through that defense and Dick catching some passes in the red zone.

A bit OT but pretty urgent as well. I'm having some issues with cable this weekend. Box hangs when resetting. Tried getting a new model and same problem so I need someone to come out.

So my question is, does anybody have experience streaming Packer games with the FS Go app? I know I can't use it on my phone, I would have to download the app on my pc and then stream it to my TV.

I use the app for Bucks games all the time. Is it pretty much the same?

I wasn't aware that you could watch NFL games on there, but I would assume so. It's on their schedule for watchable events.

Neither was I until I looked it up and saw a bunch of articles about it. It's for in market games. NFL and Verizon have an exclusive partnership, so you can't watch them on smartphones. You have to download it on a PC from windows store or iTunes. Not sure if a tablet would work or not. I really hope it's good quality because it's how I'm watching the game today.
