Texans 2015 Regular Season Thread

Post#1 » by Mr. E » Sun Sep 13, 2015 5:43 pm

Week 1 at home against the Chiefs.

Hoyer's first pass attempt is an interception.

Bullock misses his first PAT.

The Defense looks a bit skittish, but are showing that they have some big plays in them.

This receiver corps may actually be the most talented this team has ever had, which is an amazing thing to say without Dre on the team. Shorts & Washington are looking like good complementary pieces to Nuke.

Not sure if Hoyer is this depressing or Chiefs' defense is so savage.

Well, at least Mallet made it look easy.

Yeah watching him go makes me wonder how Hoyer "clearly" won that spot as O'Brien put it. This man has an urgency about him and much better leadership.

I still think that O'Brien named Hoyer as the starter in order to light a fire under Mallett...but then Mallett went and "overslept" and got in the dog house.

Regardless, it should be the Mallett as the starter next week.

It's going to be a looooooong season!

It looked badddd. Maybe with mallet starting and when Arian gets back and our starting left guard we can look better

It was nice to see Clowney on the field.

Next week is the Panthers. I know that their defense is supposed to be tough, but what is the scouting report on the offense?

Disappointing, need arian back. Running game was non existant and obviously Hoyer was terrible.
Talk that Foster could be back so with him and Mallet starting im excited to see the change. Glad Clowney got through also.

If Kuechly is out because of his concussion that would be a pretty big break for the Texans. Then again, as bad as the O-Line(and Hoyer) looked against KC maybe it won't matter anyways.

Keshawn Martin traded to NE! He will now become a multiple pro-bowler and win at least one championship. It's inevitable.

"Without getting into the details of it, I’ll tell you that we’re going to have to mix and match some guys," O'Brien said. "We’re going to have to move some guys around, play some guys at some different positions and I think that’s a credit to everybody here, especially those guys that we have some versatile guys that can play different positions."

Wonderful...

True, but the O-Line sucks taint as well.

Dropped passes, missed throws, zero running game. The entire offense looks awful.

I guess the offense and the defense are going to take turns sucking.

Underthrow, then overthrow, then good throw for a 1st down that is fumbled and then ruled incomplete.

Oh Texans, you're so cute.
