Ok. That is fair. We would be expecting markieff to have a bigger role for us than Marcus would have for you.

The suspensions, if they plead down, will still be double digit. That Adam Silvers precedent anywAy.

good luck.

Ty lawson hasn't been suspended. I can't recall last time anyone was suspended for off the court legal matters that were resolved.

2-4 games for dui once there is a guilty plea or conviction. Lawson got a second dui before the first was settled.

Assault convictions are treated more seriously.

Well the difference is the evidence. DUI's are easy to determine in terms of guilt, breathalyzer, sobriety test , blood test, admission, dash cam video. I anticipate ,as i said, that the morris brothers will plead out for a reduction in charges, or just plead not guilty depending on the strength of the case. Either way, reduction in charge most certainly going to mean a reduction games suspended. I'd be surprised if it was more than 5, if at all for a misdemeanor. Everyone's innocent until proven guilty. NBA can't suspend them based only on charges and not ruling.

Hood, who claims to be an acquaintance of the Morris' during their days growing up in Philadelphia, says he was attacked by a group of men, Marcus Morris included. According to the Republic, a court document says the Morris brothers are being charged as accomplices in the attack, in which Hood says he was knocked down and kicked in the head.

The incident appears to have stemmed after Hood sent the mother of the Morris twins, Angel, a text message earlier in the day.

NBA policy states any player convicted of a felony earns a minimum 10-game suspension. A misdemeanor, the more likely scenario here, could also result in a suspension.

Per review of the news about the 2

1.) There being charged as accomplices and even Hood, guy beat. Can't tell who hit him. I think the fact they are twins actually is going to help as he can't positively identify who kicked him.

2.) Basically, "hanging around teh wrong crowd", i don't think is enough to jusitify a suspension of over 10 games if at all

LMAO - so the guy pressing charges can't work out which twin hit him?

Can't accuse both just because they're twins! If that's the case this should get thrown out of court...

But the NBA can still suspend them both for bringing the game into disrepute

well if the court finds no wrong amongst the brothers, which could very well happen. The NBA would look like idiots for suspending players that were found not guilty.
