Aduriz is a beast in his old age. Has 8 goals in 6 games this season

Could've easily had a hat-trick. Speaks volumes about his lack of confidence.

Lamela scores again, Monaco 0 - 1 Spurs. Good lad, hope it gives him some confidence.

Franco di Santo has a first half hat-trick, seriously? Is this the same guy who flopped at Wigan?

Good grief.

You could field a team of 11 year olds and Mainz wouldnt break them down in a knockout round lol.

Serbs have a great youth currently.

Zivkovic is quite a player.

I'm glad FC Korea are looking dangerous while losing. Going out in the group stages would help them a lot in the league cause unlike SO4 and BVB they don't have the depth for europe.

Yes he is. Januzaj has looked good for BVB, but I'm still disappointed in them for not securing Zivkovic; that kid is going to be excellent and has been making steady strides towards that potential over the past few seasons.

Yep, that's the same di Santo. I didn't watch him with Wigan but he's been a solid forward since making the breakthrough at Werder, good confidence in front of net, good mobility and size to contribute to pressing and some technical skills to contribute to the build up play as well. He's no ECMC, but he's a good fit alongside those stunning youths of schalke's to.

Not too happy with the Spurs performance, we missed some clearcut chances and looked disinterested in the second half. Monaco were wank in the first half. El Shaarawy was pretty good when he came on though, made some impressive runs and scored the goal, even if it was off a big mistake by Hugo.

Subasic played awesome for Monaco, but 1 goal was still harsh considering the chances Spurs had.

Good start for Spurs in Brussels, 1-0 after 4 minutes and looking pretty dominant.

Scratch that, it's 1-1.
