Are you the authority with all the knowledge on this or is it discussion back and forth? Are you in the league on this board? If so, which team is yours?

This is just a general discussion about fantasy football trades in general.
So we don't have a million threads about aingle trades.

I am in our fantasy football league yes, I'm the commissioner.

I'm MadNESS. Lol.

I traded Ahmad Bradshaw for Julius Thomas last week in my primary league. Would you have done that? Hasn't worked out well so far since Thomas got me zero yesterday and Donnell got me 11 on my bench.

My other running backs in that 12 team league are LeSean McCoy (2nd overall pick...awful pick in hindsight), LeVeon Bell, Lamar Miller, Ryan Mathews and Branden Oliver. I finally think I might bench McCoy and go with Bell and Miller every week and start three receivers.

I never used to start three receivers but they are doing better than my running backs...I have AJ Green, Roddy White, Steve Smith Sr, Michael Floyd and also picked up Josh Gordon who I think is back next week.

Which three receivers would you start? Or would you start a third rb? Roddy White has picked it up lately, Smith has been pretty solid mostly. If Gordon is to form he has to start though and Green is a must start I think.

I also might be able to trade Mathews for Odell Beckham Jr, but I don't even know if it is worth depleting rb depth when I have so much depth at wr.

Also, I drafted Stafford to start the year, but quickly began starting Rivers, who has gotten shaky. Stafford was shaky that last two weeks too though. Who do you think you would typically start here?

Edit: I just saw Ahmad Bradshaw broke ankle. I guess that was a GREAT trade! That guy in that league has got to be pissed.

Thomas is going to bounce back. He has too. I'd start Stafford.

Team A gets: Marshawn Lynch, Jarvis Landy

IMO Team A - Jarvis Landry is going to be an all pro this year.

So...I wasn't prepared during my draft and really messed up the roster by drafting two QBs with the same bye week (Cam Newton and Teddy Bridgewater). I have since picked up Tyrod Taylor as well.

One of the other teams only have one QB on their roster. I want to trade either Bridgewater or Newton to him (most likely Netwon).

What should I offer him and for who?

My roster:

Teddy Bridgewater Min - QB
DeAndre Hopkins Hou - WR
Amari Cooper Oak - WR
Allen Robinson Jax - WR
Eddie Lacy GB - RB
Justin Forsett Bal - RB
Larry Donnell NYG - TE
Alfred Morris Was - RB
Delanie Walker Ten - TE
Cam Newton Car - QB
LeGarrette Blount NE - RB
Kenny Stills Mia - WR
Charles Sims TB - RB
Tyrod Taylor Buf - QB

His roster:

Drew Brees NO - QB
Alshon Jeffery Chi - WR
Vincent Jackson TB - WR
Victor Cruz NYG - WR
Marshawn Lynch Sea - RB
LeSean McCoy Buf - RB
Zach Ertz Phi - TE
Eric Decker NYJ - WR
Arian Foster Hou - RB
Devin Funchess Car - WR
Torrey Smith SF - WR
Matt Jones Was - RB
Fred Jackson Sea - RB
Brent Celek Phi - TE

Is that a 10 or 12 team league?

It's a 12-team league.

14 team PPR
Newton/Taylor
Lynch/Foster/Mathews/Blue/Christine
Mega/Hopkins/Landry/Perriman/Crabtree/Floyd
Eifert

Put in a claim for Fred Jackson to replace Floyd.

Guy wants Foster...was offered Gore/Marshall for Foster/Landry...I laughed. I do t think he has the horses to get Foster, but I was eyeing a starting point of McCoy/M.Bryant for Foster/Perriman or Crab....but I don't think McCoy is an upgrade per se if even a wash, but is Bryant enough to get me to bite? I'm set on starting WR but would be great flexibility for byes... He's also now without Dez. I'm 80/20 just to sit tight.

His roster:
Tannehill/Palmer
McCoy/Gore/T.Coleman/D.Johnson
Dez/Marshall/M.Bryant/Lockett/Funchess/T.Benjamin(CLE)
Olsen/J.Thomas

Agreed. If I had to bet on Forsett's final numbers this year, I'd have him outside of the top 20 RBs. Lynch side ALL DAY. Based on Matthews' huge game and Lynch's struggles in Week 1, Team A might be able to negotiate a little extra value (though I'd still do the deal as is).

His Gore+Marshall for your Foster+Landry is a definite no, as you say.
His McCoy+Bryant for your Foster+Crabtree is a no as well. Even in a 14 team league, I can't see starting Crabtree anytime soon. Waiver wire pickups are more likely to be useful.
His McCoy+Bryant for your Foster+Perriman is interesting. I like Foster a bit more when healthy, but (a) you get at least 3 more weeks of McCoy, (b) McCoy would have more trade value around your league (you might be able to flip him for Lamar Miller + something, for instance, which you definitely can't do with Foster), and (c) Bryant has a clearer path to top 28 WR status than Perriman (ie, WR2 in your league). That said, if he's without Dez, I doubt he'd bite. He's trading a starting RB and a non-active player for two non-active players.

Your question boils down to position scarcity. Who are the best QBs on the waiver wire? If there's anyone at all decent, then there's little reason for him to trade for a backup. You have to think about what the other person needs on his team. To me, backup QB doesn't seem like a problem to me, it's his WR depth.

Thanks. Like I said, probably standing pat without a counter. As much as I'd love to add Bryant for the playoff run, I just don't think the difference between him and my WR2/Flex is as much as the gap between a healthy McCoy v. healthy Foster. And like you mentioned, his WR cupboard would be bare, but that's not my problem. I doubt he'd bite on that and that's a bare bones starting point for me.

Pick one WR to play this week: Donte Moncrief, Stevie Johnson, or Markus Weaton?
Pick one TE to play this week: Eric Ebron or Jared Cook?
