I would much rather face Keuchel/Lance/Whoever else vs 4 games of Hamels and Gallardo and probably Colby.

I also would not take the Rangers lightly, they've played really well lately and besides Darvish they look to be completely healthy.

I would vote the Astros. Rangers offense scares me like other posters have said.

I'd amend it to say 'Don't care as long as we have home field'. The 36-37 road record concerns me. I don't care who we play at home but the road scares me.

If they win the division they'll have homefield in the ALDS. As for the ALCS, well, let's worry about that when we get there.

As for their road record they've been much better in the second half, naturally. I'm not as concerned as I was before about their play on the road. They've shown they can win big games there.

Yeah, all the bad road trips occurred before the big trades for Tulo, Price and the bullpen additions. Bad defense, Hutch's road woes, and a crappy bullpen outside of Osuna contributed to some bad road games. Our bullpen is now filled with some more reliable veterans, our defense is pretty ace now without Reyes' patented errors, and Price is always there to keep any road losing streaks from getting out of control.
