I wonder how long before it turns into Bulaga to IR. Sucks to lose him with the Seahawks, Chiefs and Rams on our schedule.

Meniscus repair is terrible news for this season and terrible overall since we didn't even know he had a meniscus injury. Should be a full recovery, though. IR - designated to return forthcoming I'd bet.

Week 2: Seahawks come to town
The Packers didn't lose that game last year because Burnett caused a turnover that the Packers recovered.
Him getting that TO was aggressive and sliding was smart. He's not a returner or ball carrier normally. He could have just as easily fumbled it away. Anyone remember watching Nick Collins turnover an INT by fumbling on the return?
They lost because they didn't stay aggressive and smart.

Bulaga 4th injury to that knee. 2nd surgery. And we just re-signed him.

Re: Week 2: Seahawks come to town
Finally game day!!!!!!!
I'm so done talking about the lead up to this game and completely done rehashing the NFCCG. This week has felt forever long. I'm so pumped up but hope I can get a good sleep and wake up right before kickoff.

That mentality is what told Peppers to give the Burnett the signal to slide,it's that same mentality that made Burnett think that it was a good idea.
It's the same mentality they had when they kicked 2 FGs,both on Seattle's 1 yard line earlier in the game. It's the same mentality they had in week 1 when they were too afraid to throw at Rich Sherman 1 **** time - Despite having the best QB in the world. It's the mentality that set them up to choke as hard as they did.
Back to Burnett,if a team is playing to win and going for the throat, the idea of sliding in that situation doesn't even come into anyone's mind. There was still 5 minutes to go and Seattle had all 3 of their timeouts in a 2 possession game.
To kind of echo th87,that play was about as textbook of an example as you will ever see of the old saying ''a team takes on the mentality/personalty of their coach''.
Wow. McCarthy must be a hell of a coach for in stilling that mentality into a 15 year vet after 1 season.
Peppers plays for Mike McCarthy and the Green Bay Packers now,so Peppers is going to buy in to the coach and his way of doing things whether he agrees with it or not.It would be like if you worked for a company for 15 years and then got a new job at a new company and the new employer had a different way of doing things. You would buy in to your new employer's way of doing things, you wouldn't be like **** to your boss and do things the way you did at your old job.At least not if you wanted to keep your job with your new employer.

If you hadn't jumped the shark with your shtick years ago I would say this post would have definitely been a candidate for that moment.
