Hopefully we see some definitive drawings soon
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

Finally finally finally.

Re: New Arena Design and Construction - Groundbreaking in November
It's going to be a surreal sight to go to Bucks games and walk past our new arena being built.
Lots of things to think about going into the new arena.
I would be happy to see a Hard Rock Cafe or House of Blues put in, some type of local brewpub, and obviously lots of amazing food options including Kopps.

As dumpy as the BC now is it was fun to watch it go up and it was impressive to see when it was done. And this is going to be 1000x better.

TBH, I"m hoping for something a little more interesting than a Hard Rock Cafe, but I guess it all depends on who steps up. Kopps would be a nice win though.

Hard Rock Cafe and House of Blues would be fairly gross, but it at least diverts the morons into one location so that you can enjoy the better entertainment options. If you did have a legit brewery run the outdoor rooftop bar, who would it be? Could you get someone like Lakefront? That would be pretty amazing. It probably won't be a beer brand, but something like that would be pretty amazing. Some sort of beer garden with representative stalls from major Wisconsin companies would be ridiculous as well.

I'd love to see a Wisconsin craft beer place with a few dozen options. All from the state.

Skywalks, skywalks, and skywalks. As many skywalks as you can fit in there connecting everything in sight.

House of Blues Chicago has a history of getting some amazing musicians to play intimate shows. That's my thinking for wanting a venue like that. Going to a Bucks game with a post game concert in a venue like that would be pretty fun.

And Arts. Where's that going to go?

Yeah, I don't have much experience with House of Blues, just with HRC. I'll take your word that it's a decent choice.
As for which brewery I'd like to see, it would be awesome to get New Glarus up in here somehow. I don't think they're really the types to want to expand into Milwaukee facility-wise, but a guy can dream.
It will suck if we end up with only chainy places like Rock Bottom, etc.

Re: New Arena Design and Construction - Groundbreaking in November
I'd just like comfortable seating with leg room.
In the original BC design process, Jane Pettit had good seating with elbow room to boot for people. Then Lloyd's hockey rink designers came in and said they couldn't get the capacity they needed using those dimensions. So they increased the floor pitch and cut the seat widths and clearances creating the mess we have today.

Cup holders please.
I've enjoyed the HOB clubs I've been in.
State Fair had a tent called The Micro that had some good beers. There was some disgruntled brewers as outlined in the link. If done right in the new development they should be able to accommodate any Wisconsin brewer. I'll be bitterly disappointed if Miller or Bud get some kind of exclusive access.

When I was at Suns game in PHX a couple years back I couldn't get over how comfortable their seating was in the lower bowl. I'm not talking the top ticket club seats but even the average stuff 35-40 rows back. Leather chairs with recline and....cup holders. It was great. Oh and did I mention the seats were actually oriented towards the court.
Good things coming.
