So... are we at skippage time yet? If the Aussies can get their picks sorted in our sleep, surely the Americans can get picks in during the rest of the day?

Thanks. I figure he can't play any worse than he did last year.

Yeah, Deron is a high risk high reward guy. He could end up being a 15 and 8 guy with a couple threes. Or he could end up rolling his ankle and missing 30 games haha. If he was available on my next pick he may have been my guy.

Also, I sent Skin a text.

I did email Skin straight after my pick, sorry I forgot to post that the email was sent. I assume he is still sleeping.

He texted me and said he's on his way to work again and will make his picks when he gets there.

Sorry for the wait. Had to do some soul searching before reaching for McCollum. It's 7:40am so I'm ready to start my day here.

No skippage time yet, but this Hawaiian is going to sleep. Aloha my braddahs.

For real? You're Hawaiian? That's pretty fascinating, I can't believe it's never been mentioned before. Which island?

Part Hawaiian. There really are no pure Hawaiians anymore, except for the colony on Niihau which is an island that is prohibited to be visited.

I live on Oahu. ...and yes Fendilim, I love Mauna Loa Macademia! lol PM me your address and I'll send you a box. :D

I know I'm otc - just waiting for a response from edrock on a trade proposal before I make any final decisions. Hopefully won't be long.

Wow, that really was an early move on McCollum. I really wanted him, in like 3 or 4 picks. What made you take him so early?

Don't get me wrong, I think the kid has massive upside as a scorer and he'll average 30mpg as first guard off the bench and likely take the starting SG role at some point this season. What kind of numbers do you expect from him?

Hopefully he responds quickly. He hasn't been the quickest to make his picks. I think he's been skipped multiple times already.

I know, I'm not going to hold off too long.

Edit - the PM has moved from my outbox to sent items, so I assume that means he's opened it. At least I hope so.

It's in the rules that you're not allowed to trade your pick when you are OTC, but we're a benevolent group so.... we'll wait...

Unless, stick shows up. If he does, then I'm going to have to ask you to make your pick.

I've actually wanted to trade my pick while I was OTC so I know the feeling.

I did send the proposal before I went OTC, but I don't mind adhering to the rules now that my pick has come around. I'll have someone up in a minute.

Pick's up, and emailed the next three GMs. Sorry for unnecessarily holding everyone up!

Yeah... I guess that sucks that he's not the most responsive person. I think he has missed the clock the most so far. Between him and MF4L picking next to each other it's been the longest wait so far.

Nah, it wasn't a problem. I wish Edrock's hold ups were as long as yours. lol

Well it's partly based on the fact that I pick at the end of the round and don't pick for another 27 picks...

But just seeing him tear it up in the playoffs got me hoping for big things from him this year. He's ready to break out, but since he hasn't actually done it, I think he's ranked a little low at the moment. I'm still hoping to get the same or better value as I would with someone ranked in this range. With Wes Matthews and Nic Batum gone, I think McCollum's minutes will be high. Worked with Steve Nash this summer and has said the game has slowed down for him seeing it through his eyes. Coach has said he'll be asked to do more PG duties, so if I play him at one of my SG spots then I should get what I'm looking for in points and 3s (without damaging my FG% - like some others who provide that do) and an uptick in AST. He was at 2.4 AST/36, so if he can get that up to 4 AST/36 I'll be happy with that from my SG.

What's your thoughts on the draft Edrock? Did you email MF4L?
