Who will win the PAC-12? And why

Post#1 » by goober » Fri Sep 4, 2015 4:16 am

This year the PAC 12 is incredibly deep with talent. There are a good solid amount of teams who have a legit chance to win the conference. Who do you guys got? And why?

This is really a tough one. It is wide open, and wide open meaning there are like 7 really tough teams that could win it. AZ just lost Scooby Wright, which is enormous...he had a good chance of being DPOY in all of college football (he was in PAC12 last year as a soph).

I picked UCLA not for any real reason but they seem more balanced offensively and defensively. Cody Kessler is so good he could lead USC to win it, but for whatever reason he kind of choked in some key games last year, so I'm interested to see if he does this year.

Of course I hope AZ wins it, but without Scooby it will be tough...hopefully he is back after a few weeks in time for the UCLA game, but I have no idea how serious his injury is.

I went with Oregon. Vernon Adams should fit fine in the offense, they still have speed and skill all over the defense.

Everyone else has real flaws. USC would be my 2nd choice

The homer in my says UCLA, but Oregon has the upper hand. The South will be an absolute bloodbath as any team, sans Colorado, can take it.

So I guess Eastern Washington is pretty darn good then offensively, since they put up 42 on Oregon.

Utah looking strong. Travis Wilson cut his hair and suddenly he can throw. They crushed Oregon, who might have the worst defense in FCS let alone FBS

Right now Utah is the favorite to win it, but they're schedule is starting to get real difficult. Have Cal this week and still have to play UCLA, Arizona State, Arizona, and USC
