Where would you put him?

Somewhere in the top/middle of the order. They'll put him back at #5, though.

I was against moving him out of the leadoff spot for Revere. God, was I wrong. Revere is much better leading off even if he never steals. Consequently, I like having Tulo after EE even if it only creates the tiniest doubt in the pitcher's mind. Revere, JD, JoeyB, Edwing, and Tulo is brutal for any pitcher to have to face.

Tulo feels good but still not hitting yet. He's hopeful but not certain he'll be back for the final regular season series against Tampa.

Doctors "amazed" at his progress.

I always think of funny business going on whenever I hear things like doctors being amazed at anyone's recovery. Oh well, it doesn't matter to me as long as we win the biggest prize.

He didn't come down with leprosy and die of cancer, LLJ. You should be amazed, too.

Seriously, though, glad he's doing well. I know he was slumping even before the injury and the Jays have been winning their fair share of games with him out, but he really does bring a very calming influence to the team when he's out there. His defense is top notch and has been missed even with the team throwing guys like Goins, Pennington and Smoak out there for defensive purposes. And even when he's slumping, Tulo's still a bat that needs to be respected a bit, making it tougher for opposing pitchers to get around the front of the order, and a smaller back of the order for opposing pitchers to feast on.

Tulo needs to try swinging the bat and see how he feels after. Then try and hit some balls out to the field.

if he can hit 2 over the fence in 5 tries, he should play :)

I thought your back might be healed in another week, but this? This is a miracle. You have full range of movement after how many days? I don't believe it. I am literally amazed at your progress Mr. Tulowitzki. Astounded. Floored. You're a marvel of modern medicine.

This is how I imagine these meetings go in order for journalists to use the word amazed in their stories. Anything less and they're being disingenuous in their reporting.

I don't care when Tulo comes back, as long as he's 100%. I don't want them to rush him back late in the season just so he can get a few AB's in before the playoffs. Let him heal completely.

Nurse is below average at best.
Masai is overrated.
I dont get how so many people believe in the raptors, they have zero to chance to win it all.

Have him pinch hit the final 2 games if he's okay just to test him out, and only do this once 1st place is clinched. For now Goins-Smoak-Pennington even Barney-Kawasaki had done enough to carry the defensive responsibilities.

Likewise; I thought it was perfectly fine to have Tulo batting 1st but I was definitely wrong. It's nice to have his reputation intimidate pitchers into giving EE some more hittable pitches.

i feel like now that we've clinched we shouldnt rush him back. when do the playoffs start? he should just rest until the playoffs.

I think he should play a game or two to get him to game speed before the big games.

We should at least have him pinch hit a few games.
