Speaking of trades and stuff, have you seen my offer?

I have, but since I wasn't big on moving Ariza, you can guess how big I am on moving Hayward, who I drafted even earlier. You might have better luck with a different trade partner... I'm not into Conley as much as others, I think.

Hey guys, my trade partner backed out of a trade in the morning. So if you want 159 and/or 162, here's your chance. I'll consider picks and/or players.

I'll do research on who to pick in the meantime.

That's good because I am sure a trade offer, something centered around Plumlee for Monroe will be coming in 3,2,1...

Ugh. It's 164, not 163. He's done it again.

Hey guys, sorry for the hold up. When I made the trade, I had to run to teach class and just got back.

I actually wasn't planning on taking Amir, but I just couldn't get myself to take the guy I had originally traded up to get. Fittingly, I finally take a guy who gets blocks. After drafting Marc Gasol with my first pick, you'd think I would've gone with more blocks a lot earlier. We'll see how that works out for me. At the very least, Amir's FG% will help compensate a little with Kobe's chucking...a little.

OMFG
Derrick Rose suffered a left orbital fracture during the Bulls first practice on Tuesday, and he will undergo surgery on Wednesday.
A timetable for Rose's return has not yet been set, but this isn't a great way to start off the year for Rose who is also DEALING with some legal troubles as well. We'll be monitoring his status closely, but given Rose's extensive injury history and the fact that through 51 games last season he failed to crack the top-150 in standard 9-cat leagues, we wouldn't recommend targeting Rose on draft day.

Well that sucks. i knew he was risk but really? An orbital fracture on first day is freakish thing.

Agreed.

Also, maybe he wears a mask and doesn't miss a game.

But for some players, I feel they always have random or freak injuries (Kyrie, DRose, Rubio, etc.), which is why I avoid them. But you picked him later. Perhaps he plays 75 games at 90% production from his mvp season. You'd get your money's worth.

Which is too bad because they were so short. Would've loved to see him play at his prime longer
