I don't view it as a negative thing. If anything, it shoud contribute to the Live Block being a better tailgate area, instead of a table service atmosphere. You can still find restsurants in the ancillary development, once built.

Look to MIller Park though. I've done lunches and dinners at Fridays and the 300 club and they were spectacular. You need a sit down venue or two in that facility.

Are you talking about non game days? Whenever I went to Fridays it was always empty during lunch. It was cool and all but I'm not gonna lose sleep if a half billion dollar stadium doesn't have a gimmicky chain restaurant in it. As for game days, can't they still have sit down seating with viewing areas where people just get food from high end concessions. As a fan, I never understood paying for a ticket to have a long sit down meal. Rather go back to my seat after eating. For the bucks, it would allow greater turnover where people eat faster if they serve themselves.

I guess I don't care if dining options are in the arena or in the new development. Just have everything connected one way or another. Park once and eat/drink/ before and/or after the game.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

That's kind of how I feel. Although I'm curious how that impacts the area during non event days where there's a big sporting event (i.e. World Cup, March Madness, etc.). Seems to me you'd want table service for that kind of thing. Meh. Not a huge deal to me either way.

Heller responds, “Yes, but I have something he will never have — ENOUGH.”

I think the idea is that on non-game days the live block transforms from a tailgaiting place to an office happy hour place. If they can keep prices down (a big if), that could be a fantastic social area for downtown.

Both game days and for non game days. Looking out over the field is great. And I've been at events on game and non game in the 300 club which is also outstanding.

Also not sure if I've ever heard Fridays and spectacular in the same sentence.

There should really be an area in the new arena that has a spot dedicated to SOB. A plaque or something. Statues of ESBF and PP25 would also be acceptable.

Did anything come out of media day re: news on when we can expect more renderings?

I didn't hear anything. Probably should've asked LED about that.

We were supposed to have more by the end of August, but October is 2 days away.

It's never going to happen, but if it did, this would be a sweet team name to have. https://www.behance.net/gallery/8340835/Milwaukee-Porters-Branding

ICE is going to be for Disney on Ice and other family shows.

It does not mean Admirals are going in or NHL is coming.

Feigin said a while ago that ideally they would like as many events as possible and specifically mentioned college hockey. So I would imagine they would want at minimum regionals for the NCAA tournament, if not a Frozen Four (though they may not have the capacity for that now.)
