I remember seeing him in preseason his breakout year (or was it his rookie year?) and thinking O...M...G....
It's just sad to watch him now. In the Bulls @ Warriors game he played so horribly. Even though the Bulls won, Rose really tried to give that game away. I think he had 11 turnovers.

btw, happy to draft Lin, he has to get 24 minutes or so to make it to top 120 but Charlotte's bench sucks so much that I'm confident he'll get his minutes.

Btw guys... I'm going on holidays starting tomorrow until the 10th. So chances are my picks won't be as fast as normal.

thought about Brooks after the news, but orbital fractures, in the worst cases take at most 2 months to heal. so there is pretty good chance Rose gets on the floor on opening night. Also Brooks didnt perform well enough, even without Rose last year.

The pace is pretty agonizing lately. The idea of checking in every 2 hours if you are 5 or less picks away is dead on arrival when picks are taking 8 hours.

a lot of people used 8 hours in the last 20 picks or so. one is fraan. he trades for a pick and then uses his full 8 hours to pick a player

I don't think that's by design. It's more circumstance...i.e. his current wait for Cy to check in and see if his guy is picked.

Re: FFL 2015 - 2016 - Draft started
I ignored on the first one, now I'll write a short-ish reply and that'll be it. no more replies about the subject.
In 20 teamers, you need at least 2 of the following 3 traits:
a) luck in the lottery because there is huuuuuuuuge difference between Top 8-10 picks and the rest (especially top 3 is usually on another level)
b) you need time and energy to put in for trades during draft
c) you need both time & luck during the season. In 20 teamers, only a handful of top 120 players emerge from the free agent pool. and since most managers are on US time, they get these players before we can.
---------------
a) This I don't have, my average draft pick for the last 8 years is 15, yes 15! yours for example is 9. This is an incredible difference. I only had a top 12 pick only once. My picks are like this: 18-20-18-4-14-15-13-17. Beautiful huh? Oh and don't tell me bull about "trade and make your team better" That's a lie, because your picks are valued depending on your first pick number. I did not even check which pick owner won the league etc but one thing is for sure, if you have a higher pick, you get much higher value from your picks and in pick trades as well.
b) this I don't have as well. I mean I have done trades but, obviously not as much of most of you guys. but if you send 100 offers, of course you're gonna get some very good deals at the end.
c) it's self explained above. in Turkish community leagues, I do much better.
so I'm just trying to have fun.

on a) I basically agree. I would say 'significant' instead of huge, but it's definitely a thing.
on b) I think it's an advantage if you can make a lot of trades and have them be good trades, but I don't think trades are needed to do well. There are plenty of managers who have had good seasons in the league without doing much in the way of trades.
on c) we could actually address that issue. We could have the league have all the free agents on waivers, and have a free agent acquisition budget. Then everyone would be on the same footing and there would be strategy involved in deciding how to spend your budget to get the players you wanted.

Re: FFL 2015 - 2016 - Draft started
I very nearly picked Frank the Tank with 160. In fact, he was my target when I traded for the pick. But in the end, I just couldn't get myself to pick a Rookie from Charlotte. They have not had the best luck with high draft picks. #ammo
