I really liked paul starting. he just knows how to play. the first unit looked ready. of the second group josh really played well, with the exception of his shot selection. I know it is early but this team has a real shot. dj looks to be a force if he gives it every night.

sooo, all those bad habits doc was gonna quell from guys like josh smith, lance stephenson, etc.?

there's no evidence of that thus far. he did say that the first game wouldn't have any structure, but it remains to be seen if any game plan in the future will start pulling them away from their bigger weaknesses. i think the next game will be pretty important if doc shows he wants to rein them in.

Yea, Josh Smith with three 3PA in 24 minutes, and I don't like the idea of putting him in too many sets that will encourage long mid-range jumpers, but the sets have options and he's the one that will have to decide to attack and not settle.
