The secret weapon.

All that is needed is for Tomsula to let one loose when he's shaking Rodgers and somehow Rodgers passes out with what is believed to be a "concussion" prior to the game.

Hopefully this whole team isn't really as bad as we have seen these last 2 weeks. Hopefully...

Nope, we're in Dennis Erickson Land where we win the first game handily but suck the rest of the year.

If the 49ers get boatraced again it's going to be ugly for Jed and Trent.

Have we even heard from them in the last 2 weeks? I know baalke last year would go on the radio every week after a agame but I have not seen any media quoted from him? Nothing from York either.

Agree completely (it is what I have been saying). And of course, ultimate blame goes to Daddy for putting Daddy's inexperienced young boy in charge.

Matt Barrows with some recommendations for the team: On 49ers: S.F. still figuring out what works; here’s what doesn’t

I agree with Cohn, this is Jed's mess, and that's the most frustrating part, the stadium is making money hand over fist so they have no incentive to sell the team, we can only hope that his desire to win will make him take stock and fire Baalke at the end of the year, spend whatever it takes to get the best GM we can hire, and then get out of the way and let the GM hire a coach.

How are you guys blaming the o-line? Go back and watch last week. He had 3 seconds after the snap on his first pick-6, and he never took his eyes off of Davis. Never. Not only that, but he delivered it late (how do you throw it late when you never take your eyes off the guy? That's taking poor decision making to a whole new level!)! On the second pick-6 he also had 3 seconds after the snap. He made it through his progressions, but he was slow and threw it to a well covered Boldin LATE.

He can't read a defense and he makes poor decisions. You can't have that at QB.

Kap had a horrid horrid game, worst by far of his career. Has he really been like that each week? How many ints did he throw game 1? How about game 2?

And the worst pass blocking in the league has nothing to do with a qbs results? Please pass that along to all the HCs and GMs in the league, I think they would be surprised.

Week 1? Hyde had 168 yards on the ground.
Week 2? They were down 28-3 before he got a TD. He had a big play in the 4th when they were down 36-10.

I'm not buying that they are the worst in the NFL. Sure, they have their issues (right side), but Kap is making things look worse than they really are.

He's a poor man's Alex Smith with more physical tools. By that I mean is that he's a freak athlete with extremely limited fundamentals that force him to play an overly conservative style. That's passable when your team is absolute stacked because he can run around and make the occasional play, but when he has no ones shoulders to stand on he's absolutely useless. He has never actually made this team better.

The 49ers offensive line is ranked dead last in pass block efficiency per PFF. The worst. Kaepernick is getting pressure on almost half of his dropbacks. The right side of the line is a disaster. Their right tackle, Erik Pears, was ranked among worst guards in the league last year playing for Buffalo. The 49ers are starting a right guard who wasn't even on the team until mid training camp and was basically a throwaway from New England. The Center. Marcus Martin is actually now playing even worse than Pears. He is struggling big time, getting pushed around like a rag doll. It is the worst line, anyone covering the team sees it.

Was only a matter of time before we started seeing articles like this...If this Sunday is just as bad as the last 2 then no doubt we start seeing it nationwide. I hope we win tomorrow somehow...but another blowout loss might get the national media on jeds case.

Mostly agree.

I don't think the coaching change had anything to do with the retirements and as far as I know Evan Mathis wanted to play for a winner so even if Baalke wanted to sign him there really isn't any reason to believe he would've wanted to sign with the 9ers.

But as it's been said in the other thread you can't fire the owner so the only thing you can hope for is that he'll get the right people whether that's by him figuring it out or stumbling onto it by accident.

Gonna be a tough game for me. My mom is a Greenbay fan. We made a bet that the winner has to cook the favorite meal for the losers to make them feel better. Today my mom had a heart attack and is stuck in the hospital.

In all this rooting for your mom. Win or lose make her the best dinner ever when she comes home (I think she's winning this bet anyway)

I think our offense will be more fiery without the castrated VD
