It's crazy that this could end in a three-way tie!

Astros control their own destiny at this point. Let's hope they take it to the D-Backs!

Couldn't sleep so I thought that I'd check in and see how the Astros were doing.

Up 21-3.

I'll take it.

I woke up and saw that score today and was pretty stunned. Very nice.

They would have had a chance to clinch the WC spot tonight had the Angels lost, but it's still up for grabs(as is the division!) if they can just take care of their own business.

Go Astros!
We watched the tragedy unfold. We did as we were told, we bought and sold. It was the greatest show on Earth...but then it was over.

Thank the lord of all that is good that we have baseball today! May the Astros dominate their opponent and clinch a postseason spot and help us all to forget the disaster that is the Texans.

Amen.

Bittersweet ending to the regular season, but they're moving on to the postseason and who knows what may happen!

Also, congratulations to Altuve getting his 200th hit in the 9th inning.

Of course, it would be a lot more fun to be celebrating after a victory, but this team deserves to celebrate anyways. It's been an awesome season overall, despite the frustration of losing the division down the stretch.

So now we have Tuesday night to look forward to. Going into Yankee Stadium to play a WC game AND the Rockets first preseason game? Hell yes, bring it on!
