Hamels probably goes in game 2, hope we slap him around just for the fact that he exercised his no trade clause when the Jays wanted to trade for him. Not complaining about getting Price though!

When Gallardo pitched that 8.1 inning shutout against us, he was in the midst of his best stretch when he went 4 games without allowing an earned run.

He hasn't been nearly as good over the last month. What's more, he hasn't gone past 6 innings since that Jays game...18 starts ago.

I really think we can hurt him, or at least get him out of the game so we can hurt that BP.

As far as Hamels, as good as he is, he's still a lefty, and we do hit lefties.

I don't see Hamels being much of a threat against our lefty killing lineup. Ditto for Holland. Gallardo scares me a little more, since our hitters can't seem to pick up his off-speed stuff. But the good news is that Gallardo will probably be pitching on our home turf against David Price. So chances are good that we either beat him or at least keep it close until he leaves the game and we can come back against their pen. Regardless of what happens, it'll be good to watch some Blue Jays playoff baseball for the first time in my life lol.

You know what's going to suck though, not having Buck and Pat doing the games. As much as I rag on them, those two guys are a pretty big part of the experience when I watch the Jays.

There's little chance they'll put the Jays in prime time. Probably late afternoon on Thursday and early afternoon on Friday.

All the frustration over the last 22 years is culminating in this. Let's not argue/bicker over trivial things. Let's just enjoy the ride and hope the Jays go as deep as they can go.

This might turn into a slug fest. If it does, I like our chances.
