Regarding the bashing players to make your favorite player look better...

Point being, most of us are here as Hornets fans and we only want to see what is best for the team, regardless of who plays well and who doesnt. Unfortunately there are others on this board with agendas because they came here solely because of their love for a specific player and they would probably be gone tomorrow if that specific player was traded. We gladly welcome all fans, regardless of how they ended up as Hornets fans, but leave the individual player biases at the door. Nobody here wants to deal with people bashing another player on the team for the sole purpose of making their favorite player look better. Or just blindly praising their favorite player and ignoring that players faults. In regards to this current team, that obviously applies to the situation between Kemba and Lin, the two players who have brought their own fanbases to this board. So again, what I am saying before the season starts, the mods will have little patience this year for posters who are engaging in this behavior. We let a lot of stuff go last year and it really hurt the quality of the boards in the end. We are going to try and do a better job of preventing that type of behavior this year. And if that means there is only 10 of us left at the end of the year, so be it. I'd rather have 10 quality posters here for the right reasons and following the rules than 100 people here for their own agendas.

Up to this point this year we've really only had one poster who was way out of line in regards to this type of behavior and he was banned. In the past two game threads I've seen a little sliver of negative posting creeping in aimed at making Lin or Kemba look bad in order to make the other look better. We can do better than that as a fanbase.

This also goes for the few that like to bash Jefferson and everything he does in every single thread - you know who you are. That type of behavior is also derailing threads and hurting the overall quality of discussion here.

Its a new season, so lets start fresh.
