Official Thread -- Sixers at Wizards Preseason (10/6/15)

Dang, this was one really long off-season. Really freaking long.

YOUR Washington Wizards open preseason with a Tuesday night match-up versus the visiting Philadelphia 76ers squad. The Wiz are hoping use this first preseason game to gauge progress toward installing a new offense -- one that will resemble the one Head Coach Randy Wittman used in the 14-15 playoffs.

During the off-season, the Wiz stocked up on wing players. However Jared Dudley and Alan Anderson will not play due to injury.

As for the Sixers....well, just who the hell cares? It's a freaking meaningless preseason game that means nothing....well except for one thing. And that it this-- THE OFF-SEASON IS OVER, EVERYBODY!!! Woo!!!!!!!

Bring-on the new offense. With this new offense, I will be watching to see who will be getting the PF and Center minutes.
What will our adjustments be when this small-ball is not working for us in certain match-ups?

Whoot! A rather dull Tuesday just got interesting.

Kinds sucks but a turned ankle is a bit more... surmountable then the hip injury Otto had. Sucks even more since I don't think every preseason game is televised, right?

Yep... disappointed to not see Oubre.

Once the season starts, I'm guessing we'll mostly see him in a warm up suit.

So much for small ball. I'm most worried about Webster, by all accounts he was 100% healthy and recovered from surgery. I hope its nothing serious

Beal with the pull-up 3 attempt off the bounce, off a pick. He missed it, but that's the kind of shot where he might've taken 1-2 more dribbles and taken a 20 footer in the past.
