I've been one of those "Hump Doubters." I thought there was little or no chance of him going from not making into 3s in forever to a decent 3 pt. shooter. Looks like I was wrong...I'm more than happy to report.
I was at the game last night and it was interesting to see the crowd and the Zards bench's reaction when Hump knocked down the 3 after missing the first two he took. It seemed like everyone in the joint knew how important a breakthrough that shot was for both Hump and the Zards.
Total agreement on Porter. His shooting stroke looked fantastic last night. We already knew the kid had most of the other tools to be a star, most notably a well above average bball IQ.

It's very encouraging signs all around. I'm not sure if I should pinch myself considering how well things are going right now.
The only slight disappointment is Oubre not getting any burn. I hope his ankle is ok and he gets to play against the Knicks, I'm real anxious to see what he can do because I think his defense could potentially get him on the floor a lot quicker than expected.
Pinch yourself. Hell, touch yourself if you're really feeling happy.

No shame as far as I'm concerned. I love Jesus, but the Bible doesn't say I cannot let off steam, so to speak.

Thats not steam, CCJ, thats smoke. I recommend using a water based lubricant.

Well, in fairness, we took Mike Pence off their hands. Taking back Mahinmi is the least they can do.

Nice adjustment with the starting unit with the addition of Humphries as the team's stretch 4, reminds me of the Warriors' adjustment of Draymond over DLee. Having Wall/Gortat or Sessions/Nene run PnR while having really good spacing would be tough to defend.
I like the build and the rotation of your team. You have a playmaker and Nene/Gortat to run the PnR with superb spacing with the shooters and stretch 4s in both line-ups. Then there's not a defensive liability on defense while having Gortat/Nene (both good DRPM) to anchor your defense.
It's a much balanced unit with really good depth. Looking forward to see you guys to be one of the best teams in the east this year.

We are really deep if Sessions and Nene continue to play real well.
Agreed.
RSess looked really solid out there other than the typical missed layup. I think our
PG rotation is going to be pretty good.

OP looked like a future HOFer. Confident and smooth as butter, did whatever was needed.
If he plays like that on a consistent basis, we should have a pretty good team.

What I like about Sessions - since near the end of last season - is he understands his role - as a facilitator when he has the ball and a spot-up 3 point shooter when he's off the ball - which is completely different than what he's played throughout his career - generally playing without much team concept. He gets it now - this is the way he should play. And hopefully he won't have games where he gets cocky and reverts into the old Sessions.
