Anyone watch the game and want to offer their thoughts? I read that PG had a good first quarter and Joey Buckets got some buckets.
How'd Myles look?

Watched the 2nd half. Myles looked good, Joe Young's defense deserves a mention, and Glenn Robinson III deserves a mention as well. Those guys look to be the acquisitions of the summer, as opposed to the vets we got, but it's still early. PG got the polar opposite of Anthony Davis this time around so the 4 felt a lot better, and you can see how his offense benefits from playing at that position.

Re: Pacers v. Pistons
Looks like PG will surely create mismatches at the 4, but I guess it could be a game to game basis as there are other stretch 4's who can stick with him in and out of the perimeter. I guess we'll need to have someone who can play the occasional 4 alongside him, at the three, to allow switches on defense.
The game was good. And as expected, PG will take more threes than he did pre-injury. I guess the key would be having guys that can step up whenever Paul George can't. And now with Monta who never hesitates to shoot, and more offensive players around him, I think the Pacers are pretty set. Joe Young is really something.

Joe Young really looks like the steal of the draft. I hope he gets enough time onf the floor during the season.

Pacers v. Pistons
Here's youngs highlights.

Not seeing a ton of ball movement on the offense. Most of PGs threes were him just standing there holding the ball at the 3pt line and deciding to just drain it. Only 16 team assists. Robinson did look good. Our defense looks like poop.
Monte looked real active on defense, and I thought tony Douglas played well too. He had a sick steal.

Love how much confidence Joe shows in his shot. That pull up after the sweet pass from Monta was pretty. I think hes gonna have a long career in the league as a 2nd unit sparkplug/scorer off the bench.
