C'mon guys, GT time!!

So far, Capela is looking like he could be a new sheriff in town.

I ended up getting really busy and didn't get to see the game last night. Preseason, so no urgency yet.

How did the likes of McDaniels or Dekker look?

Capela has such similarity to Whiteside. I feel like the team doesn't lose too much with Howard out and Capela in. We should jump on this opportunity to ease Howards load. Any word if Howard would still play back to back games this season?

KJ did, well honestly, amazing. Super athletic. A great block, a back door cut finishing with alley oop from Thorton, and he assisted an alley oop to Dekker as well. Very well all around game. With Brewer still having those do-or-die layups, I would rather KJ take some of his minutes now. Only concern is his 3 pt shooting. I think he needs to either improve on that, or work on pump fakes so that he can drive to the hoop with his athleticism and finishing ability.

Dekker did OK. Impressed by his offensive rebounds (or maybe he was asked to do so), always lurking around the baseline for them. Good size to defend big guys, although a bit slow on covering perimeter rotations, but with his length he was able to put a hand in shooter's face. Runs well with the fast breaks. Very very rusty with his shooting, wide open three - he hit the backboard, yeah that rusty. His range still need to adjust to the NBA, but he is a smart kid so I have faith on that.
