lol. Harkless knows what he has to do when he isnt being lethargic.MagicStarwipe wrote:The Real Dalic wrote:MagicStarwipe wrote:Frye was the laziest pice of **** I've ever seen last season. It was sickening watching him play regardless of the coach. It literally looked like we were trotting out a 50 year old YMCA player every game.
Harkless and Nicholson were lazy as hell too. I see quite a few people defend them. People were actually pretty upset that we traded Harkless as well. These same people would trade Frye for a bag of chips. People definitely don't give Frye the same benefit of doubt that they give AG and others.
I don't see how Nicholson was lazy. Harkless wasn't either. He just didn't know what he was doing. Frye might not have been lazy either. Just hopelessly slow, out of shape and stupid. I'll give Frye some props if he can go 5 games in a row without committing a clear path foul.

From Josh Robbins at the Orlando Sentinel:
Umm... can someone let him know the rules before the games start to count?
I'm also amused at Amar'e being a rules lawyer unable to handle soft European basketball.
Early in the second quarter, [Hezonja] was called for an illegal screen on longtime NBA veteran Amar’e Stoudemire, and Stoudemire confronted Hezonja face-to-face, claiming Hezonja raised both arms just prior to making contact. Hezonja reacted merely by shrugging his shoulders, holding his palms skyward, as if to ask what he did wrong. Although Hezonja received a personal foul, referees whistled Stoudemire for a technical foul.
[...didn't faze him, good offense, etc...]
“It was kind of weird for me because we set the screen like [that] every day in Europe with hands and everything,” Hezonja said when asked about his foul on Stoudemire. “I didn’t know [it was a foul here]. But I’m not allowing anybody to be offensive with my teammates and especially not with me.”

Hezonja be like

but seriously he'll learn how to do things the right way and then it'll be fine that along with defense is pretty much the only thing keeping him off the floor. One thing though even though i know he's a shooter i'm pleasantly surprised at how his shot has translated it's pretty much as advertised. It's different from when we drafted JJ, i remember him having a tough time with his jump shot even though that's what he was known for.
