Anyway, this post made me laugh

uh, just my 2 cents, usually comment other sites (especially when they are really different from yours) could be pretty dangerous, even started with no bad intention.

Lin has passionate fans, also has passionate haters. If you go to clutchfans, they even started a new thread for 2015-2016 Jeremy Lin season as a Hornets to trash on him. After a full year removed from Rockets, and went to his second team now. Yet that thread has almost 2000 reply now, and it is only Oct. That thread is the second most replied and viewed thread, behind a Parsons hate thread which has been there for a year now. Just read that, you would wonder what Jeremy did in Houston to get him that much hate.

A lot of things are really hard to believe unless you went through it, Jeremy is such a unique player that what applied to most players not necessary applied to him.

Really appreciated Hornets team and fans treat him well so far, would hate to see things goes wrong. Lots of Lin fans goes to those Lin fan sites visit here too, they appreciate Hornets fans' honest opinion about him and about other players. However, most of them don't try to bring those discussion here because they know it will generate confusion and misunderstanding, and most posters here won't be interested, and I think it is better to keep it that way.

Lin is probably going to be the first 150 Hammer winner.

Yeah, Lin haters are much scarier than Lin fans. At least fandom can be understandable in sports, but that stalkerish hater stuff (to the point where you obsess about a player not even on your team and stalk him to hate on him more than you root for your own team is just plain weird). Especially the lengths they go to to stalk and hate him, like creating fake accounts to pretend to be Lin fans in order to troll forums, or to create multiple accounts just to argue with yourself on another team's forums to make people hate Lin fans (all actions that have been documented in the past about how Lin haters from Clutchfans have invaded and trolled places like Lakersground and probably here...sockpuppet JuanCesta, anyone?).

It's just weird how that's one of the most highly viewed and posted in thread on Clutchfans. The Rockets have a good team this year, but instead of rooting for the team, they rather put 2K posts in a thread hating the Hornets and Lin. Something is seriously wrong when a Hornets and Lin hate thread on Clutchfans has more posts than the actual Lin thread on the Hornets forum here. At least Parsons only has a single hate thread there, Lin has had multiple ones, one or more for each season.

The Lin hate is even more absurd and stalkerishly freaky than any Lin fandom.

The haters he gets are much more disturbing, I think. It's just weird the lengths they go to, and hate a player not even on their team more than they put effort into rooting for their own team.

MJ finally commented on Lin in China, but I couldn't understand the quote from a Chinese new source (since I can't read Chinese) posted on JLinportal. Fortunately, someone tweeted a translation.

MJ in China: Lin's our biggest gain this summer; his penetration, shooting, passing, PG instincts & energy on court sh help our team a lot.

A bunch of people from a fan group in Taiwan flew from Taiwan to Mainland China just to see him:

I have no idea how you're supposed to get shopping done with a mob trailing you all over the place at the mall:

His hair looks a bit better after a professional hair stylist has a go at it before shooting a promo. The Hornets should hire one

And no, the fact that the kid standing opposite the director has a Marvel shirt on does not mean JLin is appearing in the next MCU movie.

I always thought agents were supposed to be the adults in a relationship with athletes. I have no idea how he roped not only his trainer and his brother into the hairstyle, but managed to rope his agent into being one of the six or seven people doing this synchronized hair grow-out thing. At least we know it will be over during next off-season when the hair has finally grown out long enough for whatever they're doing with it (other than assaulting our eyes). I don't know what type of hair style is supposed to be the end plan, but it can't be an Asian one considering both of his agents are black.

This seems to be an English version of the Michael Jordan interview.

They're airing a pre-recorded show from the summer where Lin is a coach.

I guess he's building on his resume of drawing up plays for the Rockets.

Oh, did he pick up a new agent for Taiwan? I only knew of Montgomery (original agent) and Tanner (added after Linsanity required more resources). Is he paying for 3 agents now? Or perhaps someone working out of Tanner's agency?
