I seem to remember way from way back when they used to have it that the player had to be injured, but then you could keep them there even once they are not designated injured (I guess that's kind of a given, since they couldn't just auto-drop one of your players once the injury ended to clear a spot)

I could be wrong on this though

If it's like espn, the player has to be injured as designated by yahoo (which I'm sure relies on league designations) but once they are there you can leave them there, even when they are no longer injured. However, on espn, if you try to add someone from waivers or as a FA, you can't do it if you have a non injured player on the IR spot. So I'm guessing when you want to make additional roster moves, you have to move him off and drop someone (unless you have another injured player to put there, but if that was the case, I doubt you would have left him in the injured spot anyway if he wasn't injured and another player on your roster was).

I could lose all my players to horrific season ending injuries and plummet to the CBA but its ok cause Cowboys are #1!!!!!!!!!!!!! **** lol still on cloud 9 five days since the grand final.
