Agree on Neal. I'm also a little surprised at the negativity toward him. He's been very productive as an off-the-bench scorer this preseason. Guy may not defend or pass well...but he knows how and when to score. I expect Neal to be an important role player for the Zards this season.
Agreed. Seems to me that Neal has some use when the second unit's having trouble scoring. Put him in for a couple minutes here and there and see if he's hot. If not, you pull him.
Wouldn't it make more sense to cut Blair to keep Harrellson? If there's going to be an undersized rebounding F/C at least keep the one that can shoot a bit. The team can't afford to keep two slow bigs that don't protect the rim.
That was my thought. I'm not saying I'm for this (CCJ would hunt me down!) but if there is a case to be
made for Harrellson, it seems like Blair's roster spot would be the one JH would slot into. He seems like
a fair last big on the bench to have on your team.
LOL at the guy sitting next to me at the game Sunday. Kept telling me with sincere conviction
that Temple was a really solid rotation player. I tried to tell him, NBA player? Yes. Regular rotation
player? Better hope not. Nothing personal. Seems like a good guy and happy for him that he's earning
an NBA paycheck.
