Preseason thread

Since preseason is going on and most of the games are not going to be televised we can discuss the games.

Pretty good preseason so far.

Joffrey, Jokic, Harris - awesome. I'm hopeful that Harris is the starting 2.

Another positive is that Malone appears to have given up on Hickson.

Something I haven't seen in a while, Nuggets took the lead and then....KEPT IT...answered every time the Bulls tried to come back. Good to see they are learning even if it is preseason. Barton and Jokic stepped up, Harris and Lauvergne had good games again, Mudiay even reduced his TO's to just 2.

Nope altitude is not covering it, and they are not showing them on league pass, so far only the 1st game was televised.

Jokic more prepared for the NBA than the coaches expected.

Nuggets played really well last night against the Warriors, all the starters except Harris along with Joffrey and Jameer put up pretty good numbers in a 11 point win.

Best game for Mudiay with 16pts and 9assts while only 2 TO's....those would be nice ROTY season stats. The team played well, consistently put up 30 pt per quarter until the 4th. Malone's coaching should be noted as being very good as well, what was SAC thinking when they fired him ????

Also nice to see a come-from-behind win, stretched the lead out and never looked back.

And really, is Faried playing out of position as a PF...dude had 22/12 night....he can use his quickness against slower C's.....he had success at it at the end of last season too ??? Maybe this will increase his trade value ??

Pretty excited to watch this team this year. It's going to be exciting basketball, with certain growing pains. Hopefully Harris develops alongside Mudiay. Seems like his defense will get him minutes for Malone.

And, for one last time, we get to root against the Knicks this year with actual benefit to the Nuggets (not just because it's enjoyable).

It appears that Mudiay is improving every game, which is great. The longer things go on the more sure I am that the Nuggets are going to shock people this year

It's nice to see Faried playing really good defense and hitting long midrange jumpers.

Play the kids - Mudiay, Joffrey, Harris, Jokic, Barton, Nurkic when he's better.

I don't mind a couple of lousy years as we build through the draft, and there's some real talent there.

Nuggets blew out the Suns last night, and while there are so nice offensive stats, according to what I have heard and read the Nuggets defense was the best part of the game last night, especially from Faried who seems to be playing hard on defense this preseason. No Mudiay or Gallo last night either.

Ha ! Funny how this article talks about energy and stuff on this team without mentioning Jofrrey Lauvergne !! Best scorer with 14.6 pts, best rebounder with 9.6 reb and an energy always present while he's on the floor !!! He is such an underrated player, and a real steal trust me ! It's a dream player for a coach, perfect addition for the team and be sure he'll do the dirty work no matter what if it brings the team to win games !!!!
I saw him playing with France last 2 summer ! How can he fail in the NBA ??? no way ...

Needs to quickly adapt to NBA rules though. He's had an offensive interference every game. And these are shots that are going in.
