He picks around me and hasn't seemed bad at all. I don't see the point of pointing fingers at each other though.

We could do a doodle poll or something and see if there's any possible way to line up 13 people around the world, I feel like it'd be difficult and wouldn't be fair to the person/people who had to pre-rank and autodraft. We wouldn't really know until closer to next season what peoples' schedules were, like if people were traveling on top of time zones etc. I like the drafts here on the boards, gives time for strategy and re-strategy and then allows for discussion, but not when people start going inactive. We used to kick people out for the following year if they abandoned the draft or their team during the previous season, we need to be doing that at least in the 3 leagues that have the promotion structure.

I think we need to do a better job screening people to allow them to enter these leagues. Or give people a one warning rule.
I don't like the live draft just because there are so many people from all over the place, and like you said, this kind of draft allows for sound strategy.
Also, feel like the roto leagues is a little outdated. I think next year we should do a dynasty league, and transition the 3 roto leagues into H2H leagues.
If we go ahead and do a dynasty league we could have 2 managers (users) per team and have maybe 12 teams? Just throwing ideas out there!

Loving the tension. Should make for some epic match ups during the season. Just wish I knew what the hell I was doing with my team.

I went with a very strange strategy for my team. My first three picks were guards.

Probably good ideas to post to the Fantasy Draft Discussion thread since most all others in other leagues don't post a lot here. I think quite a few love roto and the history.

I've never done dynasty so not sure how that works, but TASTIC is the master so he knows a bit about those.

Also, about the screening, we really only had maybe 2-3 posters take a long time more than once, and some were first timers, and our draft process is lengthy. I don't like to turn off new posters...most people got on board and pick quickly after 1 or maybe 2 long waits (and this was only a couple). When you make the time 10 or 12 hours, people will not check as much (especially first timers) and will assume all is fine if they take 9 hours. If we don't want long waits, we should make it 4 hours or something, and people will check in more often or know if their pick is close and they are going to sleep they better PM their picks or they will be skipped. Generally I think after one go through it is usually good. We had a lot of first timers this year though that drafted fast...there was really no way to screen them.

Uh, what are you talking about. I've made my picks quickly just about every time. SSo sorry my life got in the way of your fantasy draft for once. So, you can take your BS else where.

My understanding is that if the clock passes the next person picks, if you have an issue with that talk to the person making the rules.

Whatever.....you have not only you said you don't care about this draft/league but have been up multiple times for significant amounts of time. I'm sure most of us here have lives btw, what would you even know.

Actually try reading what I said. I did not say I don't care about this draft or league. In fact I did not say that at all. I said I'm not going to take it as over the top serious. If I didn't care about this I wouldn't be spending the time going through an offline draft. I've participated in about 10 leagues each year for the past 4-5 years, and I've been active in each one. Do you know me? No, so don't comment on my level of dedication because I couldn't make a single pick in this draft.

Besides this pick the only other times I went over 3 hours were when I was asleep and I was waiting on Nashidis to make his picks and he seems to be on a different schedule. But you know what? I still picked within the alotted time frame so get lost dude. You don't like it then take it up with the commish for allowing the amount of time we have.

What would I know? I didn't imply others don't have lives. Seriously, reading comprehension is key. Maybe you should actually learn to read before you start trying to insult people. I said I'm sorry my life got in the way of a fantasy draft, not once did I imply others in this league don't have lives.

Until you learn to actually read, go away. I'm done talking to you.

Ah geez I was dreading opening this thread after I saw Jwalls comment...I thought we had enough drama and I didn't want people singling out Phystic because I feel he's been pretty good so far about the time given to him and he and I already had an argument before. As much as I feel Johnwall2 should have chosen his words better, I also think Phystic has every opportunity to ignore it. I'll take some blame, since I think I saw the thread title wasn't updated but chose to do nothing. If you're going to continue it here, let's keep personal/lives stuff out of it (take that stuff to PMs) or I'll ask for a mod.

I'm back from classes so I'll update my pick in a bit. In terms of myself being on time, I feel like I've been pretty atrocious  Both of you (wall, phystic) have been better than me. And I'm sure very few of us can lay claim to perfect attendance.

Edit:I'll pick Jeff Green! Feels like a tiny bit of steal here.

Well that was a lovely novel sunshine. Let's get on with the draft shall we. I'm happy my next pick is before yours anyway. Good luck with the rest of the draft.

If there is no post here, either from me or from him ,in order not to waste time ,
pick for me the best 2 players available, based on ESPN projections, or move forward and i will pick from the free agency.

I'm not sure who Miklo sent his picks to. I PM'd TASTIC to see if it was him. I sent my top 3 choices to MrMiyagi so if I am up someone can PM him...I will be on the road for 5-6 hours.

Via PM, batsmasher selects Amir Johnson!

Also, for the next 48 hours starting now, I do not recommend sending me your picks as I will be totally off the grid starting in a couple hours!

bwgood77 selects Alex Len via PM.
SHAZAM!

Suns traded Mikal Bridges, Cam Johnson, Jae Crowder and 4 1st round picks and a swap so some Vegas Bookies would like us.
