With Greg Kelser being a Michigan native, winning a title with Michigan State and having both played for the Pistons and called their games for a long time, I felt that I could post a podcast I just did with him. Other parts of RealGM have been appreciative of me doing so and I hope that the mods here don't oppose this. If it's not okay and is considered to be self-promotion or something then I apologize and I won't do so again.
We talked about Michigan State for 20 minutes or so. Here's a snippet to see what the conversations is like. It's about a trip to South America the team made the summer before winning the NCAA title. It supposedly brought them together as a team and what's even more interesting is that they faced Oscar Schmidt during it. Kelser said that he was as good as anyone he had faced in college up to that point:
The rest of the podcast is focused on the NBA. There's Pistons talk at the beginning as he was drafted by them. Stuff on Bob Lanier quitting on the team since they were so inexperienced (yet talented, I might add) and unable to win games. Kelser also talked about being disappointed that he didn't get to play with Isiah all that much since he got traded. We also talked about some of the greats of the 80s with whom he crossed paths with later on, like David Thompson, per example:

Oh, Greg was fantastic to work with. He wasn't ready to give me that much time (he said he had 20 minutes or so), yet changed up on the fly and talked the full hour with me.

Re: Had Greg Kelser on Podcast to Talk About His Career
By coincidence the next podcast guest, Tony Campbell, had some interesting memories of much more fortunate times for the Detroit Pistons so I thought that I might drop this by.
He talked about the transition Chuck Daly made in the organization, turning it from a high-scoring team to the defensive-minded Bad Boys. Campbell, an offensive-minded player himself, said that it was a real struggle for a guy like him.
Here's a snippet:

Re: Had Greg Kelser on Podcast to Talk About His Career
What's up, Pistons board?
Had a Pistons legend Ray Scott on the podcast and figured that I could just drop the link right here. He was a very good player for Detroit in the early 60s, then had a coaching stint in the 70s where he got the most out of the Lanier and Bing teams. Plenty of other interesting topics along the way with him being from Philly and a friend of Wilt's, playing with a rookie Julius Erving in the ABA, etc.
