Die hard MJ fans who are not from NC or Chicago are simply frontrunners. Frontrunners don't wait around while guys like MJ retire. They move on to the next superstar - Kobe, then Lebron.

I've always been bothered by people who are fans of a player as opposed to a team. I've never understood it. I was infatuated and loved JJ Redick at Duke, and I'm still a huge fan, but I could care less about the Clippers.
