If I remember correctly, Faried is one the players that Markieff historically dominates. Tonight painted a completely different picture. Just look at the stats:

Markieff: 7 points, 5 rebounds, 2 assists, 0 steals, 1 block, 3 turnovers, 3 fouls, 1 technical foul, 3-13 field goals, and -19 in 25 minutes

Faried: 15 points, 7 rebounds, 0 assists, 2 steals, 2 blocks, 0 turnovers, 0 fouls, 0 technical fouls, 4-7 field goals, and +17 in 24 minutes

This does not even take into account how bad Markieff actually looked. He threw the ball away, dribbled it away, was being pushed around and unable to get rebounds. He was even missing wide open mid range jump shots which are usually money for him. I am telling you guys, he is playing this badly to get traded. He is playing with no heart, no energy, and completely disinterested in winning. He is just going through the motions.

Edit* Btw, I do not want to just single out Markieff. The whole team was terrible. However, he was the only one that actually looked like he was purposefully playing horrible.

I bet if you ask the Nuggets commentators if Denver is in contention for a championship and they'll say yes.

I also edited my post. The whole team looked bad. Although Markieff actually looked like he was tanking the game imo.

Yes, I saw you had edited right after my post posted, and then I edited mine, saying I saw it, though that edit didn't appear...SaintEscaton is right....the board is doing weird things tonight.

Yes, you could say Markieff looked like he was tanking, but it's easy to say about a player you think might do so when he doesn't play well. You could say that against any player any time who wasn't playing well. I can't imagine Markieff is trying to decrease his trade value and look bad to other teams though.

Is anyone concerned that our $80 million guard continues to be on the bad end of so many highlights EVER SINCE ENTERING THE LEAGUE AS A ROOKIE? Not just getting dunked on, but getting his ankles broken and missing wide open layups etc. Even the article above will tell you that Knight is no stranger to be on the humiliating side of things.

Other than Javale McGee and Kendrick Perkins, I don't think anyone was on Shaqtin a Fool more than Knight. Him and Nick Young were probably tied. That's not good company to be with.

If you google or look up Brandon knight on YouTube, you can see all the head scratching, highlight worthy plays that he makes. I like Knight as a person and he's a really good shooter and so far shown somewhat a decent job of running the offense but man, this stuff on a constant basis is pretty troubling.

You only notice him getting posterized because he goes out of his way to contest those shots. Most players just puss out and give up the lane since they don't want to look bad

There's no point in him contesting a shot from DeAndre Jordan other than him giving an and-1, and getting a foul. He's too valuable to be getting cheap fouls like that. I don't think he has ever in his life blocked a big man's highlight dunk, not in the NBA for sure and not in college, I don't think in high school either. Maybe middle/elementary school but athletes at this level are obviously different.

And what about him getting crossed over so much? I don't think that's him "going out of his way to contest shots"...

The Jordan dunk was Knight trying to interrupt a lob. I see no problem with that

Knight never blocking a big man's shot? I'm sure you looked through his game logs all the way back through high school. Also, like 2 seconds of googling provides this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eh_8p7b9OUw

Crossover? How about this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ost9WtmEv4w

This is such a dumb thing to worry about and is basically unfair criticism.

This just kind of proves everyone's point that he can't finish at the rim (and he can't.) Thankfully we have Bledsoe who very much can.

All teams have terrible games. It is shocking but I think our team the last couple of years beat some high seeded tough playoff teams, during the regular season even, pretty badly. And this is the preseason. We are giving the young guys run like many people want. I'm sure the fans wanting us to give the young guys tons of minutes all the time are super stoked right now.

Suns won't play that bad every game but there will be games agains weak teams that they will lose just like this one. And because of these loses the Suns will miss the playoffs. If we could just win every game we should win and get few suprise wins against better teams then 8th spot would be realistic. But no, we have to suck playing weak teams and play great playing good teams (just to lose in the last seconds of course!)

WTF happened with Chandler? Is this his leadership he had to bring to the team?

But at least Warren and Goodwin made a 3pt shoot. That's the only good thing about that game (and mayby Len).

Well, we might be doomed to the 10th seed in the West, but at least we don't have this guy, right?

Yes, we always blow games against bad teams...and then beat some teams you wouldn't expect to beat. But most every team does this. It's not going to work out as chalk for you against the bad teams and then you beat the chalk against the better teams. Or if it does, that is rare.

Comparing regular season to preseason? ESPN has really gone downhill.

I wouldnt panic so much, this team is not the type of team that gets up for a preseason game. Its just the way they are. Same thing when you remember they lose to crappy teams all the time last season. I hope with the change of leadership thisll change, but we haven't seen it yet.

I wasn't able to watch yesterday's game, was Knight really that bad?

Whatever happens, I hope it happens in the first 20 games.

Either go 15-5 or 5-15.

Worst case scenario would be to spend the next year in the 9th seed, looking for a new coach, not knowing if our players are any good and having to rebuild just to get back to where we were. Last 5 years need to get a hurry up.
