Team with best offseason? leaning towards clippers. They obviously have alot of depth, but alot of people ignore how much of a weakness their lack of depth was. their starting lineup, statistically, was above even the warriors by a healthy amount I recall. now, their defense looks solid.

Most improved team? gonna say that taking a 45 win team to 50+ is better than 15 to 30 ish, so thunder, but thats an obvious choice, so Pelicans. since synergy is gone, I got their points per play the other day, and overall, the biggest problem with the pelicans was monty's love of the isolation. I kind of averaged their tendancies with the warriors, since we got gentry at the helm now, and weighed it more towards the warriors in terms of play frequency, and they get 3rd best offense just based on changing their play frequencies, and that was an extremely conservative estimate.
also, davis is apparently 10 pounds heavier, more athletic than ever, and is 3/4 from 3 this year. was criminally underutilized

Best at getting own shot? Durant (scored over 1.2ppp in isolation I recall, and considering turnovers, that dwarfs even jordan in that study)

in terms of players in transition, he has less volume than the rest, but its sizable enough.
for players with more than 100 possessions, he is first by an absolute landslide. he scores 1.56 ppp in transition. its a full 0.1 point per possession above the next closes, kyle korver, who obviously shoots alot of threes. For comparison, Lebron scores 1.25ppp, westbrook 1.09. personally, I dont count 3 point players in transition.

Crawford, Rivers, Barnes, Redick combined for 34/123 (sub 28%) in those last three games.

LeBron controlled the pace masterfully and shouldered a huge amount of offensive responsibility, but the Finals was a tale of two series. Once GS went small for the final three games, they obliterated Cleveland. Series MOV was +0.3 (GSW) for for the first three games, +14.0 (GSW) for the final three.

NBA Champion? Warriors - Spurs and Cavs are tempting, but people should be terrified of the future of the Warriors

Forces most adjustments? Steph Curry Hes going to continue to make defences tear their hair out with his shooting
Breakout season? CJ McCollum I think he can be a great second option for the TB's.
Best PG? Russell Westbrook hes just electric on both sides of the ball. Really has improved his decision making and smarts on the court.
Best SG? James Harden. easy choice
Best SF? LeBron
Best PF? Anthony Davis
Best C?DeMarcus Cousins

Team with best offseason? Hornets If MKG doesnt go down, I see them hitting Top 5 in the East. Loved the acquisition of Batum for them. Helps their spacing immensely. Adding Lamb and Lin also is underrated.
