Is it confirmed that Kobe is out? I don't think there have been any diagnosis on his status today.

Kobe Bryant (lower leg) did not practice Friday and will not play in Saturday's preseason game against the Warriors, Mike Trudell of Time Warner Cable SportsNet reports.

Head coach Byron Scott claimed that the injury was nothing too serious and the Los Angeles Lakers are likely remaining cautions with their leader. Bryant should be ready for the start of the regular season barring any setbacks.

Thanks. Hopefully the youngins give the fans a good showing.. making the game competitive against the champs would be a positive sign even if it's just preseason.

Saving it for the regular season....plus I'm pretty sure I'm doing some GT's in the opening week. I got though, can't waste good ammo on a preseason run !
