I knew that pass to megatron was coming after that run run pass crap we pulled the possession before . We are on the road so play to WIN even if we lose at least we went for it and lost not played hoping the Lions will simply beat themselves
Got a Gold Name Plate that says "I wish you would"

The lions were gifted the game. It doesn't even make sense how many bad calls benefited them. Two TDs were scored because of horrible calls. And Young was held on that pass play to Johnson

I hated that as well. Then we didn't use any TOs (except the injury TO) when they were inside the 5. THat didn't make any sense to me since having the clock run down wouldn't benefit us.

This is the m.o. for John Fox though as far as how conservative he gets. I mean he's a good for us right now since we are "rebuilding", but this is a problem the Broncos fans had with him it seems.

It almost felt like Fox was coaching for a tie.
How many times did they go to Forte up the gut as if it was doing anything for the offense?
Especially when you have Alshon in a very favorable match up that he was winning all game. Blew a big opportunity to go 3-3 into the bye, even if the Lions got some terrible calls in their favor. Like that TD that should have been a TO for the Bears.

Playing not to lose is a recipe for failure. I wonder if I'll ever see a Bears coach in my lifetime who understands this.

Man I'm still really frustrated and pissed about this loss.
Garbage refs and stupid play calling.
I still don't get how you willingly give the ball back to them and give them a shot when converting a 3 and short essentially ices you a win. Just **** stupid! And it's not like Cutty was having trouble moving the ball.
And let's not forget the poor clock management by Fox as well. Should have used a timeout during the Lions red zone possession in regulation. Could have then had a shot at the endzone instead having to go straight to the game tying FG.

At least the Bears managed to score 30 points for the first time in 24 games.

Re: Week 6: Bears @ Lions (sans Suh)
Reffing aside the ultra conservative play at the end boggled my mind. We were racking up yards through the air all game and Forte wasn't getting anything on the ground. All day. Then we run it 3 times for like 5 yards in that possession late in the 4th to milk the clock/their timeouts instead of going for a first down. Then BOTH possessions in OT started with two Forte runs that went for about 6-8 yards total.
Those 7 carries that went for 15 yards, terrible. It's like Lovie all over again. Playing not to lose, bend but don't break (but end up breaking anyway)

I yelled at the TV twice yesterday. I can't remember the last time I did that. On Stafford's scramble, and when they overturned the pick.

Also, I keep reading by the local media how Fuller has improved the past couple of weeks, but to me he still get's burnt by WRs.
It seems like he has no awareness of where the ball is. He just throws his hands in the air hoping he will hit the ball. I'm starting to wonder if he's just lazy and has stopped putting in work.

-I conflicted on whether I should be rooting for all loses or more improvement. We might be able to make the playoffs at 9-7 but ill be pretty pissed off if we miss the playoffs.
