Wish he played with as much composure as he had in this interview.

Yeah. Sorry Dinwiddie. I don't think you have much of a future in this league. I think he'd be waived on a team with a healthy pg rotation. He's been that bad.

Re: Spencer Dinwiddie interview on Bball breakdown
An old Steve Blake probably can play better than Spencer right now. So Dinwiddie's future really is up in the air.
I can see a combination of Meeks, Dinwiddie, and maybe even Tolliver being trade bait for some weird team out there.

I think Id rather hold on to Tolliver but Bullock should definitely take Meeks back up SG spot on our roster
Would be amazing if we could parlay Meeks, Dinwiddie, and Tolliver into Markieff, let's see how desperate Phoenix gets

The pistons actually have alot of tradeable assets right now and it wouldn't surprise me if Stan has an inkling in his brain what he wants to do in the near future.sfballa13 wrote:DBC10 wrote:An old Steve Blake probably can play better than Spencer right now. The league is hot for shooting and the Pistons have a bunch of them sitting on the bench;
Meeks
Tolliver
Erson
Bullock
Very favorable contracts as well. Trades often happen when fans least expect them or its out of the blue or even trades no one thought would ever happen. Because the way the league is right now those 4 guys (especially Tolliver and erson)have huge trade value relative to what they actually produce on the floor.
I'm looking out for a trade at anytime in the next year and I have a feeling it's going to be a BIG one.

I like Spencer because he is an intelligent young man, but he has to prove himself now that he is a NBA rotation player and better than Blake until Jennings returns.

Re: Spencer Dinwiddie interview on Bball breakdown
I'm fine giving Dinwiddie more time to prove himself. I really don't trust Blake much at all and I see him as the John Lucas of this season. Dinwiddie has been pretty bad thus far but he showed some good signs last year. I think it's a mistake to give up on him after a bad summer league and preseason. If he sucks leading up to Jennings' return and loses his job completely to Blake then I'll hop on the anti-dinwiddie bandwagon.

I don't think Blake plays like Lucas. Lucas liked to shoot not pass much. Blake is going to set up the Offense take open shots. Two totally different players imo.
I like Dinwiddie, if we release him so be it, but if we keep him that's not bad either

Oh I wasn't comparing Blake and Lucas' play style, just the role. I think Blake will be that fringe backup PG who plays when Dinwiddie is sucking but rides the bench the rest of the time. Unless of course, Dinwiddie continues to suck so bad that an old Steve Blake takes the full time back up PG position from him.
