Is there anyway to change the thread title to make it relevant to where we are at in the offseason process?

Me bragging about being the champion is relevant. But fine, I will change it.

Re: Serious Dynasty League - Rookie draft - Sachmo's Pick

I made the dumbest trade with LP last year. Thankfully it didn't prevent my awesome team from winning the title. I traded him Victor Oladipo + my 2015-16 first round pick for Dirk Nowitzki. Both had expiring contracts. This was after the first month of the season when Oladipo was struggling. Immediately after trading him, he blew up for the rest of the year.

I rode Curry, P Gasol, Westbrook and B Lopez on something like a 10 game winning streak to end the season.

I was almost tempted to go Okafor as he should get plenty of shots up this season on that crumby 6ers team and scoring bigs are always good for fantasy.

But I will stick with the actual number 1 pick, Karl-Anthony Towns.

I should become a Minnesota fan now that I have Wiggins and Towns .

Um...why was I not in the lottery when I didn't make the playoffs, not that it matters becuase 1.5 percent but shouldn't I have 6th pick instead of 7?

3 teams from the bottom division made it in the playoffs last year while only one team from the top made it in.... And I suggest doing away with divisions if that's gonna be the case, just one 10 team division with a random schedule

That's my fault. I thought the top 2 from each division get in. I forgot that ESPNs archaic system doesn't allow that.

You have six. And Yosemite drops to 7th. You were in his spot in the lottery. I'll correct that.

I'm just now looking through the player contract sheet. All three of my highlighted contracts were pickups during the season, which we can't sign to multi year deals according to the first draft of the rules. If we can, then I'm giving Gobert a 4 year deal for the $1 I picked him up on. :D

We have to get the contract sheet in order before we progress with RFA/FA. I probably shouldn't talk because I'm just now looking at it, but everyone take a few minutes and look over your roster. I don't see anything that sticks out other than the fortuitousness of Big Al not having a length to his contract, after being a FA signing from last off season. I'm guessing you want to make that a one year deal Blackout? lol

We're only doing one round, right? I'd still like to have a pick this year plus a player or future pick.

That or a really good young player and future pick.

You need a link to the spreadsheet on Google. I'll look to see if I can share it. Who did you take over for again? BizGilWalker?
